I have a question that I would like to ask the forum.

Have you ever asked your SO to wear something that your femme persona would like to wear.

For example if you really like a style of skirt, maybe pantyhose or a particular colour of nail polish do you request your SO wear it .. kinda like expressing your own likes of what you like to dress in on to your SO. As you can not always get to wear what you want when you want to wear it.

I'm curious about this one.. as it was mentioned to me today.

I was unaware I was doing it until I looked at the whole picture after it was raised with me ... and realised I was :sad:

I've not asked my wife to wear anything (actually I prefer it when she wears nothing:heehee:) but she as asked me if she could wear some of my things at times. Does that count?

I did it for many, many years, until she fell ill - it was only when I started dressing for myself that I realised what some of my underlying motives had been?

I was just lucky she enjoyed my taste (and it was something we enjoyed sharing) - but I definitely dress now with her influence, too.. :)

I've often pointed out items in shops that I'd like my wife to wear. Many years ago, she even tried on and bought a few of them, but it seems her tastes have moved on with her advancing years, and I still like to see her wearing what 30/40 year olds wear. I've also bought her clothes at Christmas; she loved a gorgeous leather coat I got her years ago, and still wears it, but she's disposed of most of the skirts (she doesn't like anything remotely above the knee) and tops I got for her. She doesn't know, but I hijacked most of the good ones before they got to the charity shop. Her skirts fit me fine (when I put my corset on) but the tops look a bit tight....the stretchy ones really show off my figure! She's also got a drawer full of lingerie, half of which I bought, and surprise surprise, most of it is black and silky! She doesn't wear much of that now either, but before I bought some of my own (and acquired her rejects!), I used to wear that more than she did! Over the years, I've bought loads of stockings (and suspenders), but most are still in their packing.

Since I like wearing all of these items myself, then I can definately answer YES to your question.

younger, somewhat flashy yet conservative, dresser. Or

Our tastes are 180 degrees opposite, so I never ask.
She only borrows my PH, on occasion.

I have done it a couple of times, but it is a rare thing. My bride and I share the same size in tops, but she is so much shorter than I am, that most of my skirts drag the ground around her. She is a petite and I'm not even close.
I have purchased things for her in the past that ended up on my side of the closet, but I try to get things for her that only she will wear. It is the least I can do to show my appreciation for her support and understanding.

I always bought my ex-wives lingerie and always kept my CDing from them. I just came to the realization last week that I was living my sex life vicariously through them. I used to imagine how it felt to them as we were making love and didn't have my epiphany until I have been dressing with my current SO(soon to be wife). She encourages me to dress anytime I feel like it and enjoys the experience as much if not more than I do. I wonder if any of you have similar feelings on the subject? Hugs, Amber

Actually, I usually ask if I can wear something she has that I want...
We are close in size and share some things...dresses and tops and she's my foil for my fashion style...works for both of us.

Emma, this didn't happen with my SO but a lady friend who I knew before I met my SO asked my opinion as to what outfit she should wear to a Christmas party (I wasn't her date). She also asked me if she should wear her hair down or in a pony tail. I told her which outfit I would wear If it was my party and because I'm partial to long hair I said I thought the outfit would look better if her hair was down. It was a compromise, she wore the outfit I recommended with a pony tail. I was elated to know that she got complimented from her date and her co-workers on her choice of clothes :).

Hi Emma, I guess I am lucky cause my SO and I are the same size, even in shoes 10 1/2. As an example she just bought this cute hat, that I though looked very nice on her,she was going out to church with another one on which was nice but I think she looks better in the new one. I asks her were it was an she said on the tree stand,so I picked it up took the other one off her an put the one on that I though looked betted on her. She smiled at me and said if I don't wear it u will. I said no its just you look more beauitful in this one, she smiled and gave me a kiss and left for church. I do love to see her in cloths that I like as I also can wear them, but she respects my fashion sense. We have a great time dressing as twins an going out together. Josephine :hugs:
