This is a frequent fantasy in the literature and I am certain that someone has tried to fulfill this little idea. If you're out there let us know...

A bridesmaid or bride, no, but I would love the opportunity to be the flowergirl. She is the only one permitted to outdress the bride at a wedding and flowergirl dresses are sooooo cute...

Go down a few posts. It seems that in 2005 there was a lively discussion on the topic http://www.tennesseebridal.com/fashion/children/ringbearer.asp

Also, my first attempt at TG fiction, called "Flower Girl" is posted at Fictionmania.

I definitely would have enjoyed being asked to be a flowergirl when I was growing up and would have jumped at the opportunity with relish and gusto. Instead, when I was caught wearing a girl's dress, I got the beating of my life. That did not make the desire go away; it merely suppressed it for a long time.

My fantasy life revolves around imagining myself as a submissive lesbian, and that's the mindset I invariably slip into when I'm dressed, starting from the second I fasten up my bra and not ending until I roll down my pantyhose and tuck them back in the drawer.

Anyway, from the point of view of the bride, there is a distinct submissiveness inherent in the traditional trappings and rites of a wedding. To begin with, she's dressed and fussed over by her friends -- as if she's totally incapable of preparing herself -- and many times something like a row of two dozen buttons down the back of her gown renders her virtually incapable of getting into it unassisted, not to mention confined once she has it on. Then, she's escorted down the aisle, she's given away by her parents, she's wearing a veil that obscures her vision, she's in a dress that is either so flowing or so tight that it restricts her movement, she's ostentatiously kissed by her new husband at the end of the service in a way that implies how he will boldly ravish her later. Etc., etc.

For me, all of that has long had great, even overwhelming, appeal. A few years ago, when I spent a wonderfully satisfying week living out my submissive-lesbian fantasy with a dominatrix, one entire day was devoted to turning me into a bride and putting me through both a wedding ceremony and the honeymoon night, as well as the girly preparations that precede them -- the whole nine yards.

During the morning and early afternoon, my dom and her assistant -- her lesbian partner -- drove me to a beauty salon for a facial and acrylic nails, then gave me an hour-long makeup session at their home. It took them forever to get my eyeliner perfected to their satisfaction. Shortly thereafter, I was laced firmly into a corset. And I'll never forget the moment when they lifted my bridal dress -- a pearl-bedecked sheath I had purchased at David's Bridals -- over my head and let it slither down my body. Joy, delight, wonder.

Next came my veil and headpiece, which they pinned to my wig several different times in order to get it just right. Then, for 15 minutes, they smoothed my dress, touched up my cosmetics, and generally pampered me, just as bridesmaids would. They even gave me a bouquet, which had been delivered only minutes before by a florist. I pricked my left palm as I gripped it. Appropriate, somehow.

It was a transcendent experience. I not only felt fully female but also seemed to have no memory of my male consciousness. I was aware only of the slight weight of the mascara on my eyelashes, the pinch of clip-on earrings on my lobes, the perfume, the tension of my bra straps, the enveloping satin that fit my form so smoothly, the wispy tendrils of my wig artfully dropping onto my forehead, the blissful happiness, the anticipation, the exhilaration, the womanly knowledge that I looked as good as I possibly could, that I was attractive. Thanks to the veil, everything I saw was as if I was somewhere deep inside a cloud. I was living in the moment more than I ever had. I was totally at peace. Floating. Happy.

The ceremony that they had planned called for me to kneel before the dom -- try that in a floor-length sheath dress and three-inch heels, if you want to feel a feminine helplessness -- and recite a couple hundred words of pledges and vows that she had ordered me to write and memorize the night before. Essentially, it was a cross between a lesbian-bonding service and a BDSM collaring ceremony. I submitted to it, to her. To my own desires.

After that, I was taken to a bedroom, where I was gently stripped of my wedding gown, tied spreadeagle to the bed with what seemed like hundreds of feet of crisp white rope, and left to ponder my fate. Two scented candles provided the only illumination. I wore just a bra, garter belt and stockings. I shivered a little bit as I lay there. Was it cold or nervousness? The wait seemed forever.

Eventually, thirty minutes later, my dom came striding in and took me. I was fastened immovably to the bed, yet carried away.

It remains among the most emotionally rich days of my life.

I'm sure that's how brides remember their weddings.

This subject is one of the most ellusive in all of CDdom. Despite both CD fantasy stories and several intriguing "first hand accounts" from photographers, wedding party participants, and alleged "victims" themselves, in some forums, I have YET to find any pictures ANYWHERE of a man or a boy "bridesmaid".

Its a popular fantasy , to be sure, and the RL accounts (even in mainstream forums) suggest it happens a lot more than one would think, I have yet to find any documentation of it. Considering what ELSE we can find on the internet, I find the lack of such info very odd indeed.

To a prom party dressed in a pretty knee length and flared out prom dress with a two layer petticoat underneath. Everyone knew I was a guy and we had so much fun. I was humiliated a lot. Everyone thot I was just doing it for fun. And they didnt know I had a bra, panties ans slip under all. What a night of fun and excitement for me.

As has been mentioned, this is indeed one of the most common fantasies in the CD world. I though, know of one CD friend who was a bridesmaid in a real wedding, and I've seen the pictures. It does happen, though I think very rarely. Here's a link (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Lauras_Lounge/?yguid=308544838) to a pic, for proof.

When I got married to my second wife, she knew I liked to dress and had been telling me for weeks before the wedding that on our Honeymoon she would make me wear her dress.(make me wear it ya right, I wanted too) She did let me wear it the night of the Honeymoon
in our hotel room. We needed ice and she told me to go get some, but I was too chicken back then, I really wished I would have now.

I also got to wear that dress for Holloween one year too, that was a great time.

I had a wedding dress once, but only wore it at home.

I know it's hard to believe, but I've seen all the pictures, so I know this is legit. It was not a 'traditional' wedding ceremony, as both bride and groom were not all that attached to societies sometimes rigid standards regarding people or actions. I stand by the picture, and the fact that my friend Laura was in fact a bridesmaid.

I don't want to be a bride, but Someday, maybe I'll get up the nerve to try on and buy a wedding dress. They usually have them at great prices at Goodwill and Salvation Army.

When I was a bit younger and slimmer in my 20s I bought a bridesmaid's dress and used to wear it at home with a nice pair of lacy trimmed panties beneath.

Nowadays I am plump and middle aged and would be a Matron of Honour .

I almost was the Maid of Honor at a friends wedding. She was not "dressed" for the wedding but there were 2 of us gurls there. It was a very rushed affair too so the mother of the groom was brought in to be the matron of honor as I was busy taking pictures. So very close.......

Not yet, but I might be in the near future.

A very close TG friend of mine is dating the mother of another close TG friend of mine (the same friend Sally mentioned in her post), and there has been rumblings of marriage.

I told my friend I insist on being in the wedding party, since she and my other friend's mother met at one of my SISTERS of Gardner gatherings, and I am hoping for Best man.

But that's the thing. Would I be Best man, Best woman, brides man, Maid of the Groom??? I'm already confused.

But like any gal I most want to be a bride, Ive dreamed of my dress, it would have loads of skirts layers with a big long train.

One car'nt help but dream of getting married as the bride, the dress, the flowers, the bridesmaid's fussing over you, would it get any better ?

I have had a wedding dress on but I wasn't mine

How did u get 2 try on another gals wedding gown hun ?

Since I do the hair and makeup for a number of wedding parties, it seems like I would eventually go to one dressed as a bridesmaid. To date, no joy. I have only had my picture taken twice at wedding, seems they mostly want pictures of the bride and groom.

I have made-up probably 45 wedding groups and done the hair of about 120 groups, always dressed, and invited to virtually every wedding, but have only been to 3. During those weddings, however, I did get to dance and have a great time. Usually I just meet over 50 drunk horney guys.

It also amazes me how the majority of the "Best" men, aren't!

My friend that I came out to and is supportive of me, asked me if I was willing to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. I thought she was joking about, but later learned that she was serious. Unfortunatly she and her fiance broke up. I seriously did think of doing it, but I don't know if I could have actually gone through with it.

i went to a very ritzy wedding last weekend. Unfortunately, circumstances dictated that I must attend in drab. I was soooooooooo jealous of the bride's wedding gown, the beautiful bridesmaids' dresses, and the beautiful dresses many of the guests wore.

I have a GG friend from one of the local D/s clubs who got married last summer. I jokingly asked if I could be a bridesmaid in her wedding but we both knew it was not feasible, since her vanilla family were in attendance.

I was supposed to be my sister's maid of honor about 5 years ago, but she broke off the engagement when she caught her bf with another woman. I was so sad for her, and pissed off at him. I really liked him. Of course, I was also sad that I didn't get to be part of her wedding party.

Attended a wedding in a saree once. Wow, one of the most exhilarating experiences in my life. Still can't believe that I actually did it.

I was also actually invited to become a bridesmaid by a bride who wanted to set a record. I would have done it too, but it was too far away (St Louis, in the US) and at that time I was unable to schedule a visit there.

Like all others in here I've had the fantasy but only if the groom was a GG, a sort or reversed role wedding. I do however own a wedding dress and have had pics taken in it during one of my many makeovers by Jamie Austins. I loved the feel of the fabric and the whole brief experience.

In 1989 my wife and I (in matching bridesmaid gowns) were the maids of honor for a couple who were married in matching white wedding gowns in an actual wedding ceremony in the Unitarian church in Springfield, Missouri. Now Springfield then and no doubt now was the fundamentalist capital of the US. The minister was nervous that by performing the ceremony he might be asked to leave the church. Never happened. The wedding reception was held in the atrium of the Holiday Inn and went on until 3 AM. A large group of Springfield off duty police crashed the reception and when the hotel shut off the bar at midnight they brought a tub full of iced down beer to continue the party. We had a great time and educated a lot of people. The CD from Springfield who was married in a wedding gown was asked to do a presentation on transgender for the Springfield police Dept. and did have a very successful presentation. It is hard to beleive that this happened 18 years ago!

10 or 15 years ago I was watching one of the Geraldo, Sally, Jerry Springer (ok not that bad) type of show and it was talking about strange weddings. The one that stood out to me was where one bride decided to pull a prank on her groom to be. Knowing that he was not going to be at his best during the wedding (bachelor party) the bride gained the assistance of a male relative and dressed him in a identical wedding dress and full veil. She gave him the whole make over and he looked good. She then let him go through most of the ceremony before springing the prank on her future hubby. IF I remember correctly the young man impersonating the bride then switched to a bridesmaid dress (he was made up anyways) and finished the wedding like that. Sounded fun to me.

I probably could have had the chance at my wifes sisters wedding, but I am not (out of the closet) to many of her family members yet. although She did have a bridesmaid who refused to wear a dress and she ended up wearing a tux. Only ones who seamed to have a problem with it were the older folks, but she didn't care.

Christineblake113
04-11-2008, 05:17 PM
Like a lot of you here, I have never been a bridesmaid, but would like to do it. I've been a groomsman too many times to count and it was pretty boring. The bridesmaids always seemed to have more fun and got to keep their dress, while I had to return my rental tux.

Now this is going to get off topic, but who would want to be the reception ****? You know the girl I'm talking about. She shows up to the reception drunk, wearing some really tall heels and a really short revealing dress. Humps all the groomsmen's legs on the dance floor and tries to upstage the bride all night long. Might be an easy lay if she doesn't pass out in the punch bowl before the party is over.

While I'm not sure I'd want to be the reception ****, I always like watching their antics at wedding receptions.
