How many girls out there look in the mirror and can't believe that you are looking at yourself? As I get better and better at applying makeup and looking more femme, I can't believe it is me when I look in the mirror. What a rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I look in the mirror it breaks:lol: No really when I look and start appling make up an see the transformation it does me good to see the woman in me come out. I have been told I look better as aw oman than I do a man.

when i look in the mirror it makes me the most happy when i see a piece of the puzzle that will eventually make me whole.

I'm not very good at makeup and have never really liked my face which just seems so ordinary.
I am very fussy about the clothes I wear and spend a lot of time shopping and selecting what I consider to look nuce. There have been times when I am dressed and pass by a full length mirror and think, without realizing its me, how nice she looks. When it suddenly dawns me who it is, then I get a bit of a rush!

I see myself in the mirror and think "I am starting to get old"
I do still get a kick out of how much better I look with makeup on than without. If only I could get used to wearing it, I would doll myself up more often but nooo, I am just too lazy

LOL, well it helps to have a "magic" mirror sometimes. When I'm getting ready, my wig is next to last thing to put on, so everything else is done. It's all me anyway but I need to keep the "finished product" in mind while getting ready. Bottom line is I know it's all me but sometimes all of the enhancements seem to indicate differently. As you say, hard to believe sometimes.Crazy huh?:)

As long as I look in a mirror that doesn't show my face when I don't have my wig and make up on I'm good to go..LOL I think I do better and better everytime I dress up, but thats my opinion..lol

Only when I look at the woman in the mirror, I can recognize it's the real me.
As a man, it's not me !!

Sure. I get that. But there are days, and then there are days. Those other days, I need a strong mirror, and a strong constitution to put up with what it's showing me.
But there are some days when it's really cool to have the pretty lady looking back.

It feels so much better to look in the mirror and see Chari looking back at me! Even with just a little makeup, she radiates an attitude that my drab guy side has always lacked. She has more confidence, more contentment, more comfort in who she is!

It is always me. I apply lipstick as the last bit of the transformation and suddenly my face is alive and years younger. Needs a plastering job to look beautiful though.

Oh, that's me too! I get used to seeing the "homely TS girl" in the mirror, and then when I spend time doing proper makeup, that's when I just can't believe how good I look.

The main point of my dressing, is to NOT look like me, a man-in-a-dress! Whatever look I give Sherry for our dress up sessions, I don't want to see myself in her.
I am often amazed, looking in the mirror and seeing what appears to be an unfamiliar and alluring female looking back!
Some of my pics r even more of a surprise. In some, I just can't believe it is really me! Honestly!
Not many may understand the way I CD, but I hope u understand the RUSH I get from it!

dears,
i'm with all of you.
it is me looking back and i both can't believe it and, then again, it feels like the ultimate reality, hidden for so long, like coming home.
no, not so very pretty, but a whole lot more than before and, finally, looking like the face i expected to see in the mirror, all my life.
the experience is less vain than emotionally moving, like i'd stepped out from the man-shaped body suit forced into for so long and finally appear real, softer, less caloused, earnest.
wish i could be her all the time...

I look in the mirror and cannot believe that Roberta "is" !
Its not always "me" as I once conceived myself, and I'm not always convinced she is not someone new. Of course, she really is the best of who I have always been.

Once I put on the final touch, lipstick, I'm saying to myself WOW!
I wish the girl in the mirror was real because she would be my perfect soul mate.
