DanaJ's new makeover

Well, I just got home form my latest makeover. I actually was supposed to go for the last two weeks, but both appointments got canceled at the last minute - grrrrr, I was so disappointed!

So, when I went in, we discussed what we were going to do. My makeover lady is always so excited to see what clothes I have brought with me, tonight she was a little disappointed because I only brought casual clothes. She really likes to play with makeup and do the whole glam look.

First, she polished my nails with a nice fuschia/pink color. Even though she always locks the door and turns out her Open sign, some people just can't seem to take a hint. As soon as my nails were done, someone was knocking on her salon door. A girl wanted her brows waxed, so my makeover lady asked me if I would mind. Well, I said no, I knew it would only take a few minutes. I didn't know that her boyfriend was with her, so I went and sat in the bathroom until they were done. One funny moment, both girls tried and tried to get her boyfrined to get his brows done too, but he refused LOL

I say down and she started on my brows. Well, she said I had gone too long, so she started to wax and pluck and trim and shape, I was worried as usual, but she just shushed me and said that she was making them beautiful :)

Next, she did the makeover, and it went well. I love to lie back and just let her do her thing, she has so much fun that it is infectuous! After the makeup was done, I went in the back and got dressed, then she tried the first wig on me, I had just bought this one so it was the first time I had worn it. Here are a couple of pix:

I wore my new white denim skirt, a blue top and my new silver sandals. Underneith, I had my 4-pad panty girdle and nude bra with inserts. We took a few pix, then she tried on another new wig I had just got.... pix below:

Well, to be honest, this wasn't my favorite makeover, but I did have fun as usual. Oh - one more thing. My makeover lady's daughter came by during the makeover, but she didn't come in and see me. When I was leaving, she came back and she was quite the beauty, I may try to get her in on the fun next time :)

Whew - I need to get in the shower and make sure I am well cleaned up. These brows are definitely on the girly side, so I will just have to live with them for a while :D Hope everyone enjoys my latest makeover adventure...

Thanks everyone for the comments :) Hmmmm, I didn't like the curly wig as much as the other one, but after reading all your comments, I may have to reconsider....

As far as brows go. I do wear glasses so that helps hide them, except when they are done so much that they arch up over the rims :eek: If someone comments, I just make a comment that the girl who "trimmed" them up did too much, dammit! :D

You inspire me - really, I have been thinking about finally getting a makeover, I figure the money I spend on it I will make up for by not having to buy just about every shade of cover/foundation on the rack. Some application lessons would help too.

You look great, The eye brows look great. If you are worried about the constuction crew, keep your sunglasses on, it will hide them a bit.

If I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to tell you are a CD and not a GG!

Misty - good call girl! You nailed it - $10 from Newport News. They only went up to size 10 (I usually take 11), but they fit perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised.

Paula A - Go! Get that makeover! You will love it, and wonder how you ever did without them....

Dana - her daughter was HOT too - and had the most beautiful brows :) I actually told my makeover lady that she was welcome to come watch or participate next makeover. I really had planned to leave en femme this time, but..... it is a long story, but it involves my neighbor building a house next door and hanging around outside a lot.

Donna - LOL!!! OK - "put 'em up, put 'em up" (Burt Lars voice). No offense taken, I agree with you! In fact, believe it or not, I made a similar comment to my makeover lady when we were viewing the pix.

Christine - go get that makeover. If you would like, I could help you - I have a few ideas that will make it easier :)

Rachel Jean - yeah, I was going for a casual spring look. My makeover lady was disappointed, she wanted me to be all dolled up in something more elegant and glam. She just loves to play with makeup!

Here is a pic of the way my eyebrows actually look. My makeover lady always draws them in a little exagerated just for the whole glam look thing. I think I actually prefer them this way ;)
