Over here in blighty , spring is just round the corner . So are a vast amount of clothes shops , never mind the ole Dick "ebay" Turpin . Expensive summer lurking - so long as it doesnt rain .......
I love certain times of year , the dress sense certainly changes in respect to varient tempretures , but for me autumn is special .....it gives you a visible reminder everytime you wake and breath ....
Big boots , long tight dresses , knitted dresses , omg - the works .....
I just wondered , there must be so many girls on here , in different parts of the world , warm , cold , and damp climates , dressing must be so different , so in the interest of the forum , whats youre favourite season , youre bestest , fave clobber and why ???
just for fun like .

I love sweater dresses, turtlenecks, big ol' cushy scrunchy melt-into-'em soft sweaters, wool skirts, and the like.....but come summer, especially here in the American southwest, summer means light, airy, almost see-through clothing. So yeah, it's different....way different!

Mad isnt it ...I love the summer sooo much but ours is so unpredictable.
And the clothing is far from cheap overr here - you buy cheap - 2 washes and it suddenly turns into a car cleaning clothe lol....
I do really love the time of year - Autumn .. ..... seems so romantic , sensual ....the coming inside for cuddles time ......:heehee:

Summer time, I have far better workouts in 95 degree weather as opposed to 25 degree weather. Which means I can control my figure better.

Hi
The fall season for me! Knee length skirts. Boots. Tights.

The late fall season for me--I LOVE boots and tights. But then, I'm lazy, so my figure and skin are not what they could be. Wearing a sweater dress with boots and tights hides a lot. On the other hand, I really like the summer and wearing my short soccer mom dress.
I'm thinking of attending Be All this year, my first time out, so it will be interesting to hear more about what people would wear.

I love the spring, its not too hot as of yet and the colors of the clothes are just beautiful. In the summer it is just too hot, but then I get to wear the light sun dresses or a long light skirt and top. Though I like wearing my boots in the fall with a short skirt and tights and a sweater top. I just like to dress in any season.

I love Spring/ Fall type weather.Temps in the 60's, when I can get out in a skirt, heels, and nice sweater--my most "comfortable "look.

I just love the fall! Love to wear boots, skirts and tights, sweaters and the like...only thing that lasts about two weeks here in Virginia!

Here in Southern California, seasons are, well, different. Winter starts with the first rainfall sometime in November or December and lasts through the end of March. It's definitely the rainy season--the only time of year when we're likely to get serious rain. It can be cool, gray, and wet, or it can be, like today, beautiful sunny 70s weather. If we want snow, we drive up into the mountains (from here, it's about 3 miles!). Tough, ain't it? :tongueout
Spring is April and May. It can still rain moderately, and it can be cool, warm, or hot. Unpredictable, in other words. Like most places.
Summer is June through mid-October. It's hot or warm, and often smoggy. September and October are frustrating because we would like to be able to wear the fall clothes in the stores, but they're much too warm. We sometimes call those months "endless summer" because you can get the impression that summer goes on forever. So, we dress like surfer girls. :daydreaming:
Autumn usually hits with a bang when one morning it's definitely cooler and it stays cooler all day. We bring out jackets and boots and plaid wool skirts and play pretend fall. But we know that it only will last a couple of weeks until the first rainfall.
The native plants stay green all year long. That means they drop their leaves all around the year. Spring flowers can start anytime from January on. It all depends on moisture and temperature. This past winter was a wet one. The hillsides especially are bright green!

Rikki

agree. summer, eye candy season would be a hard sell for me to try to blend in. of course, in the high country, its much cooler. if gutsy, someday i might try a dressed trek or light summit.
but fall i can visualize as my first going out.
or winter, but i adore autumn with its colors, wildlife, tang in the air and the poignant moodiness of impending harshness...
bundle up and breathe the life giving air
and celebrate the cycle
going 'round and 'round again.
but for the moment, spring is springing!
its invigorating!
and i'm not going out in a tank top!
giggles,
jessie

I love the fall, winter and early spring because the more cover the more believable I can be, summer is a great fashion time but not much to hide behind.! I love the sandals, flip flops, The short shorts, skirts and all the light flowy stuff but I look a little too manly in shape so it is a challenging time to find the fashions that work for me. the one thing I am looking forward to is getting into a bikini again!! My tan lines from last year are still showing!:D

I always liked Fall, so you could wear more clothes and cover up the fact you were not female, but now I live in Florida and it is warm here all the time, so it really does not matter.
