Boston contacts

I'm going to travel to the East coast soon, specifically the Boston area. I've read in some other posts that there is a group in Boston; they sound really great and I would like to contact them. Can anyone give me any advice on this?
I'm also going to Ann Arbor, MI. Any contacts there that I might make?
