I personaly think that for most of us crossdressers it started in the womb and i,m not going to get into that but was wondering how many of you look like your mom or one of your grandmothers or a aunt or a sister when your dressed. Is there a real likeness to your female side of the family or are you all male even when you are dressed

I look more like my mother's youngest sister, 9 years her junior

I have often been told that I and one of my sisters look alike. I saw a picture of myself in a wig that matches my sister's hair style, I actually thought it was a picture of her.

I look like a younger version of my Mother, and, it must be said, a lot more so than my sister does. It's very weird actually, before I started on hormones I looked very much like my Da and 2 of my 3 brothers. Now, some way down the line, I still look a little bit like my Da, but an awful lot more like my Ma. And now I only bear a slight resemblance to my 2 brothers.

LOL @Joy!

I haven't gotten to dress up completely yet, so I don't know. I kind of don't like the idea of looking like the women in my family. I want to look like me!

In her mind, Josie is EVERY redhead. She keeps posting videos of them on her myspace page. Lord help us all if we can't find a red wig for her on Friday! LOL.

Oh, she thinks she looks like Jessica Rabbit! We will see. LOL.

Since I was a young child people have remarked how much I look like my mother. Even when I am presenting as male (family gatherings, etc.) people still comment on it. When I put on a little makeup, especially eye makeup it sometimes freaks me out just how much I do look like her.

More than once, my wife said I look like my mother when I am dressed.

In some photos I look like my grandmother, otherwise I don't look like anyone when dressed.

I think that I'm the spittin' image of my mother when fully dressed. It scares the heck out of me. (lol)

I used to dress very conservatively, almost looking like my mom who is 85 years young...

Thanks to an excellent GG friend, I have learned to dress a lot more with up to date clothes...

But it is true that in my mind my female models were thoses of the mid fifties early sixties when I was a teenager...

I was told I am a dead on replica of one of my mom's cousins, who, coincidently, has the name Christine. My real name is Chris

Since I was born, I was told I looked like my mom and my brother looked like my dad. Before puberty, I was mistaken for a girl a number of times. Not by my actions, just by my looks.

I was adopted at six weeks but I eventually met up with my biological sisters. We are all obviously related but one of them looks like my twin !

Not sure, when my Mom first saw my pictures, she said she didn't know if she was looking at "her mother or father" which weirded her out, but my son told me I look like an old wrinkled version of Jessica Simpson, I'll take that one. :battingeyelashes:

two of my half sisters resemble me. i'm happy i don't look like my mother. i take after my father. and his granddaughter, my little girl, looks like me, my sisters and my neices! so the fairer side of the genes have come around nicely. even if i got missed!

Thought I was a good mix of both parents till I got this new blonde wig which is in a style just like my cousin from my mom's side. Scared me how much I look like her. Funny thing is she just got breast reduction surgery because they were way too big for her frame. She looks great now. I should have asked for the leftovers! :D

...or are you all male even when you are dressed

Actually, a hardened criminal look would be more accurate.
Too bad what I feel in my heart, doesn't project on the
outside. S I G H !!!

All the kids in my family really favor my mother. My youngest sister and I look the most like Mom, and each other. It is amazing to me how much alike we do look.

When I was a baby my Mom told me every woman who saw me said I was so pretty (for a baby) I should have been born a girl. :o oh my gosh .... if only!

When I grew up people always told me I was so like my Mom rather than my Dad. I do look more like her, and my attitude is definitely just like her, that's for sure. My Dad .... well, he's a real "man's man" if you know what I mean.
