I'm the last person to ask but I think anything goes with white and anything goes with black. Though white stiletoes and black tights are probably not a good thing. (Why? No idea).

Yes it is a bit of a dilemma! I am a believer that if you have a fun stockings you can wear almost any color shoes.

There really are some great designs out there, and after all a lady should have a choice :)

It depends on the attitude of the outfit. A dress outfit with a white skirt can rarely have black shoes in my opinion - a lighter or more bold color's gotta go down there - but if the outfit is fun and spunky and the heels are flashy it could work. In my opinion the shoes should only stand out from the skirt if they merit the attention - the flow of the eye shouldn't be jarred unless it's the point... powder blue spaghetti strapped tank - khaki flyaway skirt - orange strappy heels.

My opinions are so seldom 'correct' :(

That said - if it's fun and YOU like it... DO IT ;)

You can wear either black or white shoes with the black/white outfit. One way to decide is, if you are tall, contrasting black shoes would look fine. If you are petite, white shoes are best to lengthen the look.

Though white stiletoes and black tights are probably not a good thing. (Why? No idea). That's because the black (which is a receding colour) makes your legs look thinner and longer and the white (you guessed it, NOT a receding colour) makes your feet much more obvious and appear much bigger. So unless you want to look like you have huuuuuge feet, it's best avoided.
