I have a been a sort of closeted CDs since very young. I have posted some of my ealrier activities and experiences.
The first time I did try to be out and accepted (even though I do not pass) was on a Halloween a few years ago. I just ran across the pics and my new avatar pic was taken on the night.
The dress was made for me by a couture in Dallas. The outfit is all sheer organza lined in slipper satin with an organza 45 yard petticoat and a 50 yrd chiffon petticoat.
I was doing a shop remodel for her and we started talking about CDs and TGs etc. I confided in her and she offered to make me the dress of my drems. It was going to be floor length and super girly but it was so full (after adding petticoats) that we stopped adding tiers. The skirt length was just below the knees.
Her hubby decided to go as a French maid in an outfit he designed and sewed and he looked great! He also had long hair which he styled so girly.
My designer friend rented a limo (in the avatar) and we went to a family style restaurant for dinner after which we went to the Reunion Tower restaurant in Dallas. It is the big lighted ball you see in nighttime shots of the Dallas skyline.
What was so cool at the first restaurant we ate at, the manager (a very sweet lady) met us at the door and informed us that as we were "ladies" we should use the ladies room if necessary and escorted us to our table. She called the waiter over and instructed him to take very good care of us.
We were complimented on our outfits and how we carried ourselves as ladies with one minor but hilarious episode. As I as wearing a huge petticoats and the dress was so full, I was not accustomed to being sure I had tucked the dress under me as carefully as I should. Upon trying to tuck my skirts and sitting down, the manager came by and whispered in my ear "Sweety, if you're going to dress like a lady, you need to sit like a lady." She was chuckling and made me feel quite at ease. I did not know it but my dress had ridden up over the chair back exposing everything underneath. So I carefully stood and readjusted and all was well. much to the amusement of several groups around us. They giggled but NO ONE was mean or sarcastic. It was all in good fun.
We had several folks come by and compliment us and several asked for pictures of me and my friends either as a part of their group or by ourselves.
We even invited the limo chauffer to join us as well as his young son for dinner. He asked if he could bring his son as his wife was out of town. We assured him it was fine as their would be nothing improper for him to see.
We had an absolute ball and I was on a petticoat high for 3 days.
So, to all who desire to go out en femme, just use Halloween as the key but do yourself up right as a real lady. I hope you can have the intense fun and excitement we did. It might make the next time that much easier.
We also had some questions from a couple GGs there about how we felt, what we wore etc. I am sure from the questions that they had SOs at home who were CDs and were trying to better understand. They also commented that our outifts were so sweet and girly and they never owned anything close to it them selves.
So far, that was the most intense and fun outing I have had, although I do intend to do it some more before my legs say "no more walking in heels".
