It's a start!!!!

Well I got kinda of brave the other day and dressed, in jeans, a sexy black top, pumps, wig and not the best makeup job and started a 5 hour drive home. I was enjoying stopping at lights and hoping to be "noticed" or not . I got brave enough to go thru the drive thru at Mac Donald's for a soda and it was so exhilarating. I did get out at a couple of rest areas to stretch my legs but never ventured inside.

I drove a bit farther and having spilled a bit of soda on my jeans I stopped in a casino parking lot changed into a lovely black, grey and white wrap dress with knee high boots. I stopped a few more times got out an walked around, I stopped for gas and then went thru another drive thru for some food. This time I think the girl at the window was unsure, but I couldn't have cared less. I felt marvelous although I was nervous about being stopped by a cop so i obeyed all the laws...lol.

If I can master this makeup thing I will get braver and actually go into places, I can't wait until my next trip out as Samantha

BTW - it was all of the encouraging things said in this forum by others that gave me the guts to try this, :cheer::cheer:thank you girls.

Good for you Samantha. Keep working on your makeup to gain confidence. Pretty soon you will be ready to get out of the car and walk into a store. Takes a little nerve but the more often you succeed the more you will want to try.

Great start Samantha - as they say every great journey starts with the first few steps. Certainly good make up with the appropriate hair and clothes is a must. It's all down to practice. So keep going !

A 5 hour drive dressed, and the number of stops you made, I figure you must have driven about 5 miles (hehe). Still, that's 5 hours/miles more than I have. Good luck to you girl and hopefully one day you will get inside some of these stops.
