I have finally found the time and the desire to have a dressup session:D I just bought my first pair of 4" pumps. Pencil thin heels. A bit tougher than shorter one..........But alot of fun none the less:battingeyelashes: Now it is time for a short drive in the wife's car..........I can't wait to feel the wind up my skirt. Wish me luck!

Haven't tried heels, as I actually prefer bare feet. But the feeling of the wind up and/or around a skirt when driving a convertible with the top down...

Good luck; driving whilst dressed is a relatively safe way to make ones debut in public. One note of caution; you might reconsider actually driving in 4" heels. My advice would be to drive in a pair of flatties - or even your stockinged feet - but to take your heels with you in case you suddenly feel emboldened to get out of the car and go for a stroll.

Goog luck and remember to take your License. I forgot mine when I went out and figured I better cut my drive short.

I could never pass so do not do wigs or make up. But drive quite often in a skirt and 2.5" heels. I love the feel of the cool air blowing up my skirt. I also stop a lot to get out and hear the clicking of my heels on the pavement.

I dress and drive at least once a week if not more. I usually drive to work (early in the morning) then change into drab in the car before going in. I do drive in heels but they are only 2" pumps. Very comfortable.

Driving in 2" heels is not bad. I have driven to/from my Tri-Ess meetings (45 minutes each way) in 2" heels. I have driven in 3" heels but they start to become arkward.

To me, driving in tall heels is easy.

[to drive in] even your stockinged feet
I wouldn't recommend it. Some states have antiquated laws against driving without shoes, but furthermore, it's unsafe in the event of having to make an emergency stop for example.

I just did a Google search on "barefoot driving law" and came up with bunches of hits. I will make no attempt to quote any of them, but will say it appears that driving barefoot IS legal in all 50 US States, and the DC. I didn't bother to check for any other countries. Google is equally available to them.

Bring a bag with boy clothes and shoes. Bring some Pond's cold cream to take off your makeup and an old towel to wipe your face with. If you have long, polished fingernails, bring a pr of work gloves. What will you do if you have a breakdown, flat tire. or....
