Question for college age CDs

Has anyone ever tried going to GLBT (gay/lesb/bi/trans) meetings on campus to deal with CDing and talk to people personally? I'm neither gay nor transgendered so it seems like kind of a long shot to me, but I know other clubs sort of expand based on what shows up their way.

My question is, have you personally done this, and how did it turn out for you? Just trying to avoid an uncomfortable situation.

personally i dropped out of college and the collage i went to didn't have any club's like that but i'm sure they'ed let you join club's like that really aren't into discrimnation

No, I attend a really small college and most of the people here seem to be close minded, I considered going to a LGTBA event at another college, but I am too afraid of someone recognizing me.

I go to the university of Michigan and we have a pretty wide range of support services for the TG and CD community. I have not gone to meeting myself.

If something specifically for CDs was here, I'd be there in a heartbeat.. but we have nothing here, our clubs suck in general. I'm jealous.
