Back in December 2007, not that long ago, I could no longer fit many of my favorite clothes. This was the result of eating Doritos & ice cream most ever night. Something in me decided I could not live like that so I stopped eating that stuff, increased fruits and veggies, and began going to the gym. I feel soooooo much better! More energy, and, I have gone down 6 sizes. I am now about 10 pounds from my goal. I gave myself a present of a professional photo shoot when I reached a recent weight loss goal.
I tried to post a before pic and 3 afters but for some reason it only lets me attach one pic.
P.S. Is anyone going to Esprit? I am for the first time…I am so excited!

Great job Regina! (love that name.) That is not easy to do. Good job sticking with it. I'm trying myself but those pizzas keep calling my name.

Looking good, I have always done some exercise but few months ago it took more importance to me because I started to feel my pants tight at my waist.
So now I am having more trouble to get the waist down some inches... So I know what you mean so Gooo For It!!!.
It takes some efort but is well paid when you see your self in a nice little dress... Good luck. Lucy

About 2 years ago I decided I needed a change as well, and mostly through change of dietary habits, I lost 110lbs. I'm not 230, and I would like to be between 180 & 200. I've been stuck at 230 for over a year now, and it is pretty annoying, even though I started exercising.

Congrats on your weight loss, I'm sure the last 10lbs will be the hardest part, but the most rewarding in the end.

Good job, hun!

Ice cream and Doritos? Together? Ew!

I've lost about 5 lbs in a few weeks just by not eating carbs (like ice cream and doritos) after 2 in the afternoon. And salad only for dinner. If I bothered to exercise it would probably come off faster, but I'm close to where I want to be anyway.

Cngratulations again, sweetie!

Darn those technical difficulties - I'd love to see a few more pictures.

Very good, going down 6 sizes is an excellent accomplishment. I know personaly the sacrifice and comminent it takes to trade in Doritos and ice cream for healthier foods.

Regina your a insperation to us all. I used to be over weight and about 7 years ago I started CDing on a regular basses. I went on a weight loss program of my own. When you got a good reason, like keeping a pretty figure It's not to hard. I would post a recent picture, but they never seem to take on this site. So my avatar will have to do.
Very pretty picture. would love to see more:hugs:Daviolin

Good for you. It paid off nicely. Going down the xtra pound, or adding an embellishment to a picture fires up the enthusiasm button. Lovely picture ! The little touches make such a difference.
I am an unrefined carb a holic. I stay slim by avoiding processed foods. No sodas, no cheap cookies. The trick is to buy small amounts, and burn up the calories. I eat up to 6 times a day, but in a little bowl. And I drink tea before I eat. It is possible to be healthier in our 50's than we were in our 20's. And it helps to diminish stress as much as possible.

I am on the "default diet". Never heard of it. Well it works like this, wife is a member of Weight Watchers, so by Default, I eat the same things she does, and guess what I also have lost weight. I went from 180 to 155 pounds and from a size 20 dress/skirt to a size 12/14 dress/skirt. Also from a 40 inch waist to a 34 inch waist.

I would love to be where I was back when I was in my 20's. Back then I was about 125 pounds, 28 inch waist, and size 8/10 dress/skirt.

U must be SO proud! As well u should. It's so silly how we sabotage ourselves!

And so amazing how just small changes in our habits, can radically change our lives for the better!

Love your "default" diet.

But damm, how tall are you to weigh so little, if I may ask.

Regina,You look great ,I'm losing also,10 down and 20 to go.You are right it doe's feel better.Speed walking 1 hour a night has helped.I've read if you can reduce calorie intake by 250 per day and take off another 250 through exercise, you're likely to keep it off.
