Hi Girls

Can anyone suggest where a newbie girl can go to get a femme makeover. I've looked at a number of sites and they all look good. How does a girl decide? I do want to be as femme as I possibly can.

One of the absolute best is here in Atlanta. Phoebe Cross. She will make you up, dress you and do photos. She is retired from working on movie sets in Hollywood. Perhaps if you travel for buisness or pleasure much you could check her out if you made a trip to Atlanta.

Also there has to be makeover artist in NY near u in NJ. Phoebe Crosses link is on my yahoo profile btw. She did my avatar pic u can see.

You look lovely Deidre. Phobe does wonderful work. I do want to have a makeover and have some lessons so I can doll myself up. I'd also like to have pix taken too.

Mia, it all kinda depends on where you live. I can't help you too much as I'm out here on the "left coast." Perhaps some of the other girls who live closer to you will have some suggestions. But by all means DO IT! You'll lovve the experience. My avatar pic was shot at Glamour Boutique in Las Vegas.

Yes Holly, I I find my femme feeling getting so very strong. It's something I'm looking forward to being madeover. I've checked out two sites Fem fever and Fairplay so far and they both look good. Will have to ask some of the other girls about these places. you do look very lovely Holly.
take care sweetie.

I've not been , but have heard great things about TG North, in Vermont. Check out tgnorth.com. They offer femme weekend (or single night) packages, have racks of clothes, forms, wigs, etc! I hope I'll get to go sometime later this year myself. It's a bit of a drive, cheap flights are avail from DC (where I am), maybe fr NJ too. Good luck! Tammi

has anyone ever had the courage to do this at an actual makeup counter at the big retailers or even specialty stores like Mac? I've always thought how exciting that could be

I've reached to point that I'm ready to overcome my fear and just go to a MAC store and ask the salesgirl for help in picking out my makeup. The same goes for buyig lingerie and other girly clothes.
Wish me luck girls,

I haven't had a makeover at the MAC counter, but I did spend about half an hour getting advice from the guy at the counter in Northern CA. Also spent 15 minutes or so in the MAC store in Arizona browsing and getting makeup tips.
