Sharon has given me permission to add that the Kansas Statewide Transgender Education Project (K-STEP) can give some information about resources for transsexuals and transgender individuals in the Kansas area. Here is a link to their site: http://K-step.org

A member asked me to post the following resources:

For the members new and older who want to access written information would it be possible to have a couple sticky thread to include one or both of these link to some great information? As it is pointed out within these texts TG/TS people are notorious for gathering good information about GID.

Members are all free to add their own links for support and TS related sites. The following is a site that another member has requested be added:

"....one of the biggest support groups in the south of the UK - the Clare Project - they are based in Brighton, but members come from all over the south of the UK (some travelling 2 or 3 hours to attend)."

I have a few groups here to bring to your attention. I am based in the UK but was asked to help set up a TS online support group (TS/IS/FTM/MTF) on Facebook after a US member saw what we had in our UK one but fell foul of our UK only requirement. Any girls or guys who wish to join can do so by requesting here https://www.facebook.com/groups/259647344115128/

If your profile does not display enough info to show you are TS we may ask for more info but we hope to see you there :-)

Back in the UK we have the original online group which follows the same line as the US one, that being UK Transsexuals. It is a secret group on Facebook but all interested in joining can do so by initially PM'ing Emily dodge on Facebook. Her profile can be found here, https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000099502170

Emily and I run a Cornwall based self help support group, Kernow Katz. We meet every month in Truro. For more info please email [email protected]

Thanks
Rachel :-) x

My goodness This is some pretty antiquated information an could use a very thorough overhaul. Just an FYI for anyone looking.

Right? Holy thread necromancy! And an old thread on cd.com that wasn’t locked!

Instead of moaning and being sarcastic you could have reported this thread.
