Well the fact is, i deal better with female doctors than with men, is a comfort choice for me.
And like your lawyer if you withhold information because your somewhat embarrased they wont have a clear direction of service. Case in point for years i have been treated by doctors for my lung cancer 6 years clear too cool, but didnt feel well was just hurting so my doctor did blood work and my ced or fed rate was 95 off the charts she sent me to a specialist in exam i was required to undress to my underware, my attire was a refelction of a past encounters with female doctors always positive. in just panties and bra straps marks on my torso i was uncomfortable with him maybe just my own personal delema and as a profesional he made no remarks to my attire but i still felt embarrased. So with the case in point my bad for my attire that day but its just a judgement call. So is it better to tell or not concenus.
Thanks Nadeen

Thats a good point. Since I just got my health insurance, I've been thinking about getting a female doctor. Especially for my dermatologist. With all the touching involved in checking all of the moles I have, I would much rather have a female doctor.

I've had female doctors for the last 15 years and feel a lot more comfortable with them.

My male doctor knows. My wife told him. The good doctor is nonjudgemental, but rather conservative. Little or no backgound or training in modern transgender ideas. Wondered if i had tried to "Overcome the urges." He did not mention crossdressing in my last two visits. I go drab.

My doctor and her staff have made the diferance for me, she asked the right questions and take in consideration the mental asspect of Cding.

I have had only male doctors my entire life. Six months ago I went to a veterans clinic for an exam and was assigned to a woman doctor. I was a little apprehensive at first but quickly overcame it. her professionalism was the same as any male doctor I had ever seen.

April,
tough dilemma.
personally feel more comfortable around females for any occaision
but wonder if a GG physician might not judge me more harshly than a male?
no, there's so much testosterone here in the macho west, a guy would be more harsh.
forgot last august when i had my 2 years drivers physical that i had my burgundy joe boxers on. believe it elevated my BP but i was cool and he didn't say a thing expect to note it was up a bit from my records.
was not outed, it probably seemed somewhat European.
but, oh the excitement!
will stick with GGs.

I have had female doctor for several years. She knows all about my dressing. we have become good friends, and even been to her house dressed on Halloween a few times. She always said I should shock eveyone in her office some halloween and come in dressed, as everyone there always celibrate the holiday dressing up (all female employee's) So this year I decided I got the nerve up to do it. I walked in and everyone was great and started taking pictures. (That is where my avitar picture was taken) Anyway a funny thing happened at that event, the doctor came out to see all the excitment and greeted me with a big smile and a hug and said (not thinking) " I love that outfit, thats one I haven't seen" She didn't relize what she had said, but I sure did. Not sure how many of the ladies caught on to the statement, but we sure got a good laugh out of it later, on my next appointment, when I told her what she had said. She is such a great doctor.
