My wife and I stopped in for lunch this past weekend at hooters. When the waitress came over to take our order, she asked what we're up to. My wife says we're on our way to go clothes shopping. That she needed some new clothes for work, and since her sister backed out going with her, that she's taking me. The waitress then made the comment to me, "How bout' you stay here and wear this, while I go out shopping with your wife?" She walked away before I could comment back. I would have said something like , "OK..." My wife just smiled at me and said, "If she ONLY knew...."
I always get a kick out comments that retain to me either dressing like a woman, or being one. Ha ha ha......if they only knew.
Anyone have any moments like this to share?

No, but I think you may be able to buy one there if you ask. I know my wife bought a pair of those pantyhose there. She just asked the waitress.
I bought a complete Hooters outfit on ebay before, from an ex hooters girl. I have two hooters outfits now!

That is really cool. Why do you think she said that to you? Maybe she caught you admiring her uniform. I know that would have made my day if she would have said it to me.

AT a bridal shop my mom does work for. One of the ladies she works with jokingly said "you want to try on a dress?" and I laughed it off. I would have loved to :p

I purchased one directly from the waitress at Hooters. The stores themselves cannot sell them to you, however if you build a good rapport with a waitress, odds are you can manage to buy one. ;)

Found a skirt at a consignment shop. Loved the skirt but almost didn't buy it because of the "Hooter's" embroidery. I did and the one time I wore it the folks I was with loved it ....so now I'm happy I spent the $ (oh ...about $3... not a big risk).

That is too funny! :D There were a couple of instances for me and one that comes to mind is. We were out on the town one night when a female friend was complaining about her heels and she said how about you wear them for an evening, I was thinking, uh ok sure! :heehee: if she ONLY knew too... haha!
I'm sure there are many more and when I think of them I'll post up.

Maybe one day I'll post a pic of myself in my Hooters Waitress uniform. For a brief time the photo actually hung in a Hooters here in Houston until someone from Corporate came in and redid all the photos on the wall. ~sigh~ I was immortal for a time. ;)

A couple years ago, when I flew to a conference in Atlanta, I found upon arriving that the airline had lost my suitcase. The upshot was that the only things I had to wear were the grungy jeans and sweatshirt that I had put on for traveling.
That night, as the dozen or so people attending gathered for a dinner that kicked off the meeting, I was so inappropriately attired that it required an explanation. Everyone at the table turned my way as I attempted to turn the story of my misplaced luggage into an evening-opening moment of humor.
In that vein, when I finished, one of the women blurted out: "I've got a black cocktail dress you can borrow." Everybody laughed, and I shrugged genially.
But here's what would have been in a comic-strip thought balloon over my head:
"I'm a 12 -- do you think it'll fit? And do you have any spare hose?"

I was shopping at an intimate outlet store with my wife a couple of years ago. I shared with my wife that I really wanted to get a new body breifer. I shopped hard to try and find a breifer that was total support and yet pretty. I remembber my wife getting frustrated in that I kept savoring the moment and kept comparing different breifers. She specifically said "you looked at the same body suits for 30 minutes--any woman would have already decided what to buy".
So I finally decided on a peach colored subtract breifer with a light floral pattern. I handed it to her with the panties that she selected for herself and we headed to the counter. The SA started to ring up the purchases and wrap them all in pretty tissue. When she got the the breifer she said--"this must be yours"--looking directly to me standing next to my wife. I was paying. I blushed immediatly and said "no--I wanted it in black". She giggled and continued to wrap up our purchase. Once we got to the car we had a laughing fit. I dont think she said that because of how carefully I shopped--the store was really crowded but once I get into girly mode then I tend not to see or comprehend anything around me. My wife said no--"sorry honey--she was just teasing you--she probably didnt see your careful analysis of all of the girdles that you looked at--she was just teasing" I responed with maybe but I like the idea that she knew that it was for me and quickly pulled the body suit out of the tissue and said--"is this not the prettiest all in one that you have ever sceen!! I dont have the kind of intimancy were I could model it for my wife but I recall that story in my mind every time I put it on!

:p My mom was there! I would not do that in front of her, she doesn't know anything. And I'm sure that if I said yes, they wouldn't really do it. You could tell she was just making a joke.

A few times.
Once, while my wife was getting a makeover in one store, I was sitting nearby giving my input, which usually asks for, and a lady and her daughter were passing by. She stopped a few feet past, turned back and walked over and asked me, "What color you planning on getting?"
"Sand!" I replied.
She laughed and walked back to her daughter and they both gave me a

I would love to be able to wear a Hooters outfit, but I am sure I couldn't fit in one well enough to satisfy me. Many years ago, when shopping at the J.C.Penney outlet store south of Atlanta, I had a pretty bikini swimsuit I was buying for myself, an attractive woman that was also shopping at the same bin, said she would love to see me in it. She sounded serious, I wish I had the time to make her wish come true.

This one was in Roseville.

I don't know. She could have seen me checking out her nylon covered legs.

Ha. I wish. I don't think that would go over too well with the patrons.

I have never been to a Hooters where they wore skirts. Everyone I have been to ( a lot of them!) they wear very short shorts (bright orange), a very tight orange tank top, shiny stockings, and heels. I have the shiny stockings and the orange shorts, but have been unable to locate a top to fit. The real ones only come in small or medium and neither will fit me. Most of those sold on ebay are fake ones that someone made. That info came from an officer of Hooters!
The shiny stockings can be purchased at www.stockingshowcase.com.
BTW, I have gone out in public wearing my shorts and the shiny stockings. Had to hedge a little on the top, since my tank top did not say Hooters across my 40 B's!

I guess the nearest thing I've had to this was a couple of years ago when I wasn't dressing as much as I am now and I was more shy about doing girly stuff. My wife and I were driving back from an errand the other side of town when she said she desperately needed a "fill" for her gels (manicure) and that we would be stopping off at her nail salon. She said I should wait for her in the waiting area and read some of the womens magazines. She said she thought I might like that :)
Anyway, we went in and the young Asian girl asked my wife what she wanted and then turned and smiled at me and said "you want something too?" I just went red and said no thanks .... but of course I secretly wanted her to give me a "full set" :D

I guess it shows that the Hooters girls, like most GG's would feel, feel 'out there,' and I guess it takes guts to dress like that. Myself, I enjoy that 'out there' feeling too, if it is not obvious and I don't get unwanted attention, (like being read). It is like there is not much between you and the world, and what is there is skimpy and flimsy. I guess it is one of those thing that is both a + and a - about being a girl.

Rachel,
The same thing happened to me years ago. Normally my late wife went to the nail salon by herself, but this time we had planned to do some shopping afterward so I was there. When the Vietnamese lady asked me if I wanted something, my wife said,"give him a full set just like mine!" Of course, my dear late wife knew I was a CD. The lady smiled and gave me a full set of acrylics, and a pedicure. Have been doing it ever since then every two weeks.:)
