Funny thing

Last night I was visiting my sister... It was bedtime for my 3 year old niece and my brother-in-law was playing tug-of war with her and her princess pajamas. He kept teasing that they were his pajamas, finally forfeited them to my niece and joked "Well I'm going to wear them while you're at school tomorrow." It was a cute and funny moment... but then my sister said "That's a pretty scary thought..." All I could think about was how scary of a thought she would have of her little brother wearing her clothes when we lived in the same house because that actually did happen.

I have often thought of my younger days when I used to wear my mothers clothes and after I was married, my wife's. I was always scared to death that either of them was going to say to me one day, "are you wearing my clothes" or worst yet, catch me dressed or perhaps with a little lipstick still on my lips. Fortunately it never happened.
