Hi, all,

I'm sorry, I haven't been around in months. I do miss the first place I found support here, and I hope that even during my busy schedule I can stop in and offer my own bit of support to those who may need it. Heck, even I need tons of it still!

I am still not full time as of yet, but a lot has happened, and I manage to maintain an extremely busy life. I am still married to my wife, who just recently finally understood the inevitability of me going full time. However, considering my job is in a highly macho environment with no transgender protections, I'm still being cautious and moving forward slowly.

I continue to be on HRT (since Feb 2007), and my body has changed considerably, with all the changes being warmly and greatly appreciated save for the slowing of my body's metabolism which has caused me to gain another 15 pounds...ugh. However, everything else is as it should be, and most importantly my mind knows that this is the right thing to do because I feel liberated to feel and see everything as it was intended... I call this feeling "sensation magnification."

Anyway, I hope to contribute to the group more. I see several familiar faces (like a newer stronger and bolder Gypsy Karen, wonder why? :) ), and a lot of new ones.

If you've been wondering where I've been online, I maintain a new site for anyone willing to discuss gender issues called Transcendgender ( http://transcendgender.com ). I also have my original blog over at the failed yahoo 360 at http://360.yahoo.com , but I am now blogging more personally at http://loriannetucson.wordpress.com .

I look forward to getting to know the many new faces here..yet again!

Warmly,
Lori

Why, that is you. I thought you looked familiar from good ol' "failed" 360 :D

Hiya Lori! Fancy meeting you here!:D
I have no idea how you manage to juggle that many sites but it seems to work for you.

Hi, Teresa, yes, it's good seeing you here too!
Amber, you KNOW I started my journey here, and I got to know you as a friend here first! Yup...back in the ol' days when we walked to school for 5 miles through 10 feet of snow.. oh wait, that was my grandpa's excuse!

Eileen, it's good to see your pretty face again! It was a total pleasure meeting you at IFGE, and I look forward to seeing you again!

Welcome back,

I could not have written anything that states my situation better than the above lines - some days it seems as if I'll never get there but as my retirement date gets closer I know that it is just a matter of being patient. And that doesn't come easy. So hang in there and I'll look forward to seeing your thoughts and progress.
