I just discovered this site 6 weeks ago and cannot begin to describe how important that is to me. Before finding this site I felt so very much alone and thought I would never have anyone to share this part of me with. Since joining this site I have made friends that share similar interests and have come to realize that there are so many more of us out there that I never knew existed. This is a very important thing to me and I am so very thankful that I have discovered this. The friends that I have made on this site are a treasure to me and I will never look at it any way else.

I know what you mean. It has been this site and two others that I gained the insite and courage to first go out in the daylight fully dressed and then later tell my wife that I am a CDer. I am 60 and had been closeted for almost 50 of those years. I am now out and about and it took a year after I told my wife, but she is now accepts that I am a CDer and is OK with it.
When I first joine this site back in 2005, I was afraid to go out and scared to death to let my wife know. with reading how others made the jump to going out encouraged me to finially make the jump. Then some started telling me that I needed or had to tell my wife or sooner or later she would find out. I was scared to tell her because so many friend here had very negitive reactions fromt he wife when they either told or was found out. I finially got the courage to tell my wife. She was not happy about it, but we did come to an agreement. This agreement held until about a month ago, when she accidently saw me for the first time fully dressed. Sense then her attitude toward CDing has changed for the better. She is now more accepting of my CDing than I could ever hope for.
