advantages of underdressing

I have today realized that there can be advantages to "underdressing." Well, anyway I have found one.

I am sitting typing this in my black thong/tanga and favourite black hose (under my trousers). So where's the advantage, well I have seriously laddered my hose ... in two places ... spit. But they still feel lovely on and I can't see the ladders through the trousers (even though I'm well aware they're there).

Any other advantages?

The slimming effect some panties have is a definite plus! Especially for a bigger girl like me.

Hey Girls, I under dress all the time, there is something....a thrill maybe..about talking to friends and co-workers that are such the major macho type,(and they are thinking I am too:heehee:) knowing the whole time I'm wearing a real cute pair of panties, and my toes are polished and they don't know! I totally agree. being the only one in on the secret is quite thrilling.

I work for a major retail store and I wear my pantys or pantyhose under my uniform everyday.

I feel as though I look more feminine underneath than 50% of the women I come across.

When I interact and sometimes flirt with my female co-workers or customers, the feeling is twice as exciting.

Then there is the added advantage that if you are out shopping in drab and you see a pair of shoes that you would like to try on you are prepared.
The look on the SA's face when first you ask to try on then again when you slip off your shoe and she sees the stockings can be priceless. :D

I have never thought about the advantages of under dressing other than the sensation of it all. I will admit though that trying on shoes while wearing hose is a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone that is out looking to buy shoes.

I'm not inventing anything and certainly not an excuse. I just like wearing (will eventually get round to doing so "out" rather than "under") but all the threads I had previously seen (and most of this one as it turns out) have been about the thrill of underdressing, nothing about practical advantages.

Interesting point about trying on shoes (although I "cheat" and would have to take my socks off as well - could also be good for a priceless look on SA's face).

So, I make the tally so far:
1. finding use for defective lingerie (me);
2. some types are "slimming" (Cayce);
3. hose useful support for the knees (searching);
4. "does wonders for" legs (JoanFlores);
5. exciting "glimpses" (Ronniwannabe & AlexandraK);
6. facilitates trying shoes (Edwina);
