Theres no famous cd's, tv's, tg's, or ts that use these forums that I've seen. Was there ever a time when one of them did? If not maybe I will be the first one day!

Whats the fun in being famous if you have no one to share it with?

I thought I saw Edgar Hoover log on the other day? :D.

Wait.... He's dead.....

Eddie Izzard, Alexis Arquette and any other famous TG folks really don't need support and they typically have web sites of their own and blog spots... I get on a few of them and post things...

Famous in what regard? Are we talking just movie stars and sports celebs? I think there are a number of peeps in here who may be very well known in their particular fields, and that's why we don't always see faces in photos - just a thought.

Take care and God bless! :D

I,ve pondered that myself. There is no way to tell who are part of this fine group of girl,s and that,s the way it should be.I,d be out of here quicker then i can change from a skirt to pants when someone knock,s on my door unexpected if it was any other way.

Yep, I myself am an obscure famous person. Famous enough to be known to the movers and shakers in several technical fields, but obscure enough that I don't get asked to speak at conferences (or even chased to attend them.)

Raymond Smullyan has a good quip in one of his book of philosophical ruminations; if I remember, I may dig it out.

How would we know if there was anyone famous who visits the forum? They are more likely to be in the closet than the average Jane/John member, of whom, I'd be willing to guess, 99.9% are also anonymous.

I've seen a couple of stories about Shaq painting his toe nails pretty colors before games as a good omen. Then he came on Best Damm Sports show once in a blonde wig so who knows there may be a lil tg in there somewheres.

I know there was a football coach on here for a while (that's all I will say), and Karren's hockey performances have been on Funniest Bloopers.

Kieron's pretty famous ;) . . . I went to a party with him and you'd think he was Brad Pitt the way the women just flocked to him.

They wouldn't let me talk to him.

Oh, I'm pretty famous. But if I told you who I was, I'd have to kill you!

I suspect there's probably more than a few on here, but why would they acknowledge themselves? I think we still have a bit of growing to do.

Peace and Love, Joanie

I happen to be a very famous Hollywood figure. I use the photo of an old ugly fat guy to keep my true identity a secret.

TracyH

Honestly? I'd rather not know. The minute a celebrity makes their identity known, and then is somehow able to prove it, people will flock to kiss his or her butt, and then the place will be flooded with fans. I post on another forum, under a different name, which is owned by a pair of semi-celebrities, and the place goes nuts every time one of them posts. Needless to say, they don't post on the forums of their own site anymore.

you know I almost made this exact topic not too long ago. I didn't think it'd go anywhere though =p at least we came to the conclusion that they'd rather enjoy anonymity.

 That's against the rules. You may not use someone else's picture as your avatar without their permission, and you may not use someone else's photo and claim it is your own in the member's picture part of the user control panel. It's in the rules.

Which means you'll have to take it down and post your own picture instead :battingeyelashes:

Oh, and Deborah Jane, that goes for you too! Did that human give you permission to use their picture as their avatar? :tongueout:tongueout

They say:

"Be nice to all your friends as you pass them, when you're on the way up ~ as you'll be passing them once more, when you're on the way down again."

How would you know if there is??? A lot of people here do not post Pics, so you may never know, and yes there are very important people that come to this forum, but they are like us, just people who want to be themselves.

sandra-leigh

and yes there are very important people that come to this forum, but they are like us,

We is all "very important people", so there is no "us" vs "them" for that.

It is true that we are not all equally famous -- but we are all important.
