First T-party

I have been excited all week about going to my first T-party in Columbus tommorrow night. Now that I only have 24 hours to go I'm getting a little nervous. I really only have 1 wig and it's one of those halloween thing.(see avatar picture to left) I'v never gone out and let people know I like cding. What to do I love the idea of meeting new people but I'm still nervous.


P.S. If I go ya think the outfit in my avatar would be O.K. ? It's still a little chilly here in east Ohio.

It's hard to tell if the outfit is OK... You must post a picture of you in each and every outfit you have, then we will make a recommendation for you! :heehee:

The outfit looks nice, if you are comfortable wearing it in the place you are going to then do it!

I've also got a "halloween" wig, and wouldn't you know that it works pretty well!

Your outfit looks ok. The important thing is to get out there. A T party is like Holloween. You won't be overly criticised. Just about anything is acceptable. You will learn so much from this experience. You will look better the next time, but not until there is a first time.

I don't think your outfit is of concern. Meeting people with the same interest is probably the most important thing. I'm sure the nerves will pass. I'm not a full CD, but I'd still go to meet like-minded people.

Yesterday was the one week anniversary of my first time out. As the night progresses the nervousness should go down and you'll wonder why the heck you didn't do it sooner!

For sure Go tot eh party and say Hi to Tammy and Deb for me and tell em I miss em. I am sure they will be there. U will have a great time and if you go a little early you could always do a little shopping in Grandview at my favorite shopping botiques on 5th ave.

It's about 11am here and the worry is still there but the excitement is back too so I'll definitely go anyone else going ? I know the Chicago thing is this weekend too so just wondered. P.s. I'm so sad I didn't get to talk to you. I guess I spent most of my time at the opposite end of the bar, if you were down there by the pool tables.

People kept taking pictures of me, but nobody's given me any of them yet. They always do that! I think someone has a pic of me with the guy in the sailor outfit.

You better keep going! They're so much fun. Unfortunately there weren't quite as many people as usual, and the next one was canceled for interfering with a lot of ppl's plans for pride week...

But if I don't come say hi to you at the next one, come introduce yourself!

My 1st CD party was in 1977. It was also the 1st time I ever talked to anyone about my dressing. Needless to say, a lot has happened since then, LOL. My advice is just go slow with it.
