Wow. What a great way to aerate the lawn!. I'm sure the neighbors would love it. Maybe I can do it after dark.:)

It's exceedingly easy to do , in fact it's just something you have to take for granted if the ground's soft enough and heels pointy enough. I had this happen to me at sparkle a couple of years ago when went to the park wearing ridiculously high ( for me ) heels and ended up sinking slowly and quietly into the turf . My first thought was that i'd have to cut back on the drinks for the evening as suddenly finding the world rising around you very off putting :D

Yeah, like Julia said, it's especially interesting if you are wearing 3 or 4" spikers and the ground is soft.:heehee:

Walk fast on toes works for me, I hate the dirt in the heels after the grass walk.

Ew! Dirt on my manolos? Never! Grass is for cows!

Gimme good ol' cement...

Or a wooden dance floor...

Or heels off the floor completely...;)

Your certainly welcome to come by and aerate my lawn, since I can't seem to get my lawn service to do it. Even though I paid for it!

Grass can be a problem but ever try walking on a deck where the boards have 1/2" gaps between them? Dangerous for you and hard on the heels.

I've never had the chance but one year I was photographing the opening day of a horse race track where all the woman dress to the 9's. It was quite comical to watch them try and walk across the grass for photographs in the mounting area. More than one left a shoe behind.
