I often look at women's clothes and so much of it is amazing and I would love to wear it, only often I feel like the clothes are too good and that I would be doing the clothes an injustice by wearing them (being a guy and not well proportioned). Anyone else feel this way on occasion?

Sometimes, but if you're a big girl and you're looking at Vogue models sure you'll be disappointed.

You have to find the style that works for you and looks good, too. Didja see those ladies with the elephantine thighs in mniskirts at the mall? Don't even think about going there.

Instead, get yourself to a better mall. Watch the higher class ladies of your age and size as they wander around. Do they look good? Then there's your cue for style and colors.

Ya just gotta choose the right mentors, hun!

I like you, darlin'! I respect the clothes, too. Maybe it's a little snooty, but you will never find me in a Wallyworld! Doesn't mean you gotta pay throught the nose, though. Try Target (pronounced Tar Jhay!) Still low prices, but they have real noted fashion designers producing their clothes. The styles are better, the materials are better, the cut is better. Also, think about spending al ittle more anyway for much better quality. I'd much rather have one well made, well designed gorgeous pair of shoes or skirt than a whole cart full of cheaply made, poorly designed crapola from a discount store.

If you think well of yourself, sweetheart, you deserve the very best you can afford. Good for the soul!

I've never felt that way.

Well, the truth is Hon that real CDing starts in the head and goes to the heart. It's not so much how "good" we look in the clothes as much as it is the feelings it all gives us. As Deja said, find a look that works for you and go for it and enjoy being yourself.:)

Dear Orora ,

Oh you are right & most of the times that makes me very angry especially tight fits , That is why I feel comfortable with the under wears because you tend to feel them inside you instead of wearing them to the outside . I used to feel the the cloths before trying them on . & started to have the eye of knowing whether it is for me or not . Yet I agree lot of what we like are not fit for our bodies .....:hugs:

Ahhhhh.... Nope, never.... They are just clothes after all.... Not like women's clothing is "better" than men's clothing... imho... Prettier... but not better.....

And the way I see it.... you can wear anything you want!!! And it's probably more of an injustice if you didn't wear them than if you did.... Afterall, clothes were ment to be worn!!! plus if you don't wear them... someone else will... and why should they have all the fun??? Hmmmmm? :)

For me, I'll see some shoes that look really nice and in a smaller size think they look fantastic but as they get bigger they lose that look.. I have bought shoes like that where I remember how nice they looked in that smaller size... but as far as like a dress I do feel like there are some dresses that I should never wear... those strapless lot, as well as other designs...

Do you mean to imply that the clothing has a soul and that we, as men, do an injustice to a pretty item of clothing because we are depriving it of it's rightful place on the body of some gorgeous female? Are you saying that my pantyhose deserves a freshly shaved female leg instead of mine?

Okay. I believe that everything has its own dao. There is a life force in everything that is in existence. All is part of the one, and the one is part of the all.

That said, if there's anything to it, tough toenails. I'm wearing the stuff, and if the clothing doesn't like it, too bad. I vote and pay taxes. My dresses don't.
