Do you/have you played virtual reality games as the opposite sex?
Bonus points for those who explain if/how this relates to their CD'ing.
Double bonus for those that say which game they play(ed).
Triple bonus for whoever has the most original alias/handle/screen name/monicker.
Zero points and GAME OVER if you respond with a no. :)
BANNED from the forum if you didn't even bother to read the into question

Yes---and indeed quite a few do.
There is an article on the women's Gamer website that addresses this phenominon. It appears that some men have discovered that playing as a woman gives them a bit of an edge in many games. I used the article when I wrote "The Dark Frontier" screenplay from my "the last frontier" SF series on Sapphires place and FM.
it seems that women DO indeed have some advantage in a combat/combat game situation. The guys playing as women discovered that 1. A man will hesitate for a moment before he shoots a "woman" some wont shoot a woman at all.---That gives her a chance to shoot him FIRST. 2. Some guys have a tendancy to want to "protect" women--they will often sacrifice themselves to do this. 3. Many guys want to be frendly--so they will give "women" gifts, free weapons, "money" etc. 4. a woman can "unnerve" some macho types, causing them to fire wildly and react emotionally, making them easy prey for a more cool and collected player. 5. Many guys underestimate "women" and are not as careful as they should be---untill its too late.
Of course the woman has some disadvantages, as lower body strength, for example, but many guy players STILL like the trade off. Of course some guys are simply CDers and do it just for kicks.

I'm with Karren. The ultimate reality game is "reality" as we know it. The real clincher though is that "reality" ( is in reality) a VR program in itself that we are all participating in with our own personal grid program in order to experience feelings and emotions. Say that three times fast.:heehee::battingeyelashes::)

Me in Second Life virtual world on a fashion catwalk. Like my tutu ?
I'm L1l1th Oh in Second Life, call me.
I present as completely female, almost everybody I meet assumes that I'm female in RL (real life) and treats me accordingly.
This is very interesting :-)

I play world of warcraft with all female characters. The problem is that it seems like 66% of all female characters on my server are guys in rl.
One instance of note. I had a dwarf start flurting with my night elf. Treated me real nice giving me gold. He even asked me what color panties was I wearing. So I answered him completely honestly.
"I'm not wearing any panties"

I used to play Second Life as a female.
Haven't been there for ages though, it got a little boring.
Got lots of guys chasing me though. That was fun!
Might have a look to see if anything has changed.

SL now has some weather and water/sea is a lot more realistic.
The chasing hasn't changed, though. :heehee:

I'm in second life :) (not so often at present though) and very much enjoy being related to as a female, although some male attention can be tiresome. I chose a name that could be either male or female.....but haven't really bothered with appearing male. I know plenty about that.
I love to dance, shop and chat!! Some Avatar pictures have been from sl

Maybe it was so long ago I forgot about it, but that I am unaware of that requirement :strugglin

You'll find me in Second Life, although I haven't been there in a while due to network connectivity issues (I'm so far out of town I have to use satellite for my high speed which doesn't work well with SL) and my other favourite is Test Drive Unlimited for xbox360; here you get to buy clothes and fill your wardrobe plus have lots of control over the avitar's features.

I think it was an hour or so.
Let me know when you activate your account and I'll come show you around if you want. I'll need your SL name. :hugs:
Hey, all of you Second Lifers ! Fancy a get together ? I don't get online as much as I used to but I often log in at around 24:00 UK time, that's GMT +1 right now. (Or is it GMT -1 ??)
In SL I am L1l1th Oh.
Would love to meet you all :hugs:

I haven't played any yet, but being a VR female sounds like fun.
Is second life the place to go?
How do I sign up?
I wouldn't want wife or kids to find out...is it discrete?
Thanks for any advice.

I play world of warcraft with all female characters.
I, too, have a female holy priest character in World Of Warcraft in mostly T4 and T5 gear (Only WoW junkies will get this one) Never had a bad experience.
Yes. Male characters will think a split second longer before trying to kill you, and yes I always get flirted with. I'm not your piece of WoW meat! :heehee:

I have a female online character for GTA IV
When "Home" is released for PS3, I'll have a female identity there as well.
I'm afraid of playing "Second Life." Afraid I'll like it too much.!

Yes. They will require an email address but this is never divulged to other users. There is a feature to relay SL messages to your email address but this is optional.
Oh...SL is free :heehee:

Generally I dont play rpg's but all of the other on-line games I register as female and hold my records as female. I also have an email address that most would consider female.

I play world of warcraft. All my 70's are male. My mage has a mohawk and sorta looks like me plus mages get away with cross dressing!
