how have you ladies trained yourself to sustain a female voice and tone. I drive a truck for a living and have plenty of time to practice. :daydreaming:

this gal is amazing at teaching us to talk as a woman. She has several videqbaj4tIX1kwos on the subject.

I don't... I just use my normal voice just a tad quieter... And it works ok for me... In the check out lines.. Or at the casino when someone strikes up a conversation... Or when the hotel security guard want to know if I need help.. Or when the officer yelled at me for taking photos near the slot machine,, hahaha..

Its enough work being a faux woman let alone trying to master a faux voice!! Lol. And since I don't care if they do know I'm not a real girl then faking a fem voice serves no purpose.. Imho...

I speak naturally in my deep male baritone. I have thought about changing my voice but I don't know at this point if I'll change.

I have not comletely trained myself yet but I am working on it. I find I have to make a concious effort to sound right, it is easy to forget sometimes and just start talking like a guy. I think this is really important if you interact with others while dressed. Even if you look convincing you have to sound convincing as well to complete the illusion.

Femme voice. A never ending challenge. I practice but mostly just try to speak softly. Although, I have been called "ma'am" on the phone more times than I can recall. Go figure.

I try to sing girl songs in the car like Shania or Gwen S and it seems to help. Although when you go through the drive-through and they say pull around to the first window ma'am it makes me wonder if I spend too much time in the car then I just laugh:heehee:.

Practice, practice, practice.

I really don't have very much of a femme voice as in high sounding. I think my femme voice is actually deeper than my male voice. It's just more resounding. Remember, most of it has little to do with the sound of the voice but where the voice is coming from in combination with several other factors. Many women have deep or raspy voices. A lot of it is accent, facial expressions, and bodily gestures. GG women are a lot more emotionally expressive when they converse, and are overall more talkative than men. So that might help.

I don't. It's the way I say things and not the tone that conveys the image I'm trying to present. What image is that? Just someone who is comfortable being themself.:)

My male voice is very deep and I can only raise the pitch a little bit. I settle for a softer sound and use grammar in a more feminine way. Facial expressions and body language complete my feminine ways, though I have a long way to go on that. On the phone where fidelity is only fair, I can pass as a woman without much problem, even with a deep voice. Same goes for the drive thru when the order is taken. The You Tube video mentioned above is one of the simplest and best ways to practice developing your voice, short of having a personal speech coach.

Yes, I've done that as well. Also taped myself singing and recording it back. Another one I've tried is to repeat a female newsreader because intonation is also important

Usually when driving I'll practice through singing my favorite songs by my favorite GG artist. Occasionaly I have shocked my male friends when I'll try and jokingly immitate a GG voice.

I speak in a femme voice for a short time, but not long enough to hold a conversation.
