Hey gurlz I am sure a lot of you have heard Sears has bought out Kmarts and all the Kmarts are having sales from 25-over 50% off. They have some really nice stuff in all sizes. I am going tommorrow to pick up some really cool and sexy stuff They have pumps for $5.00 Skirt suits for $20.00 and really nice dresses in all sizes :cool:

I heard that, but it does not mean K-mart is closing. But you will see a lots of cross branding. Like Craftman tools at K-mart and Martha Stewart stuff at Sears.

But as for K-mart clothes, they do have some nice things from time to time. I am plus sized and it really changes from year to year. This year the plus size clothes suck :( at K-mart. I went in there last week and tried on a pair of their Route 66 lowrise boot cut jeans and the zipper broke first time I used it. Needless to say I did not buy any. I would give anythgin for a decent pair of size 22 tall streach jeans just like the one pair of Venezia that are my favorite.

I guess it depends on the store the ones in jersey look like they are going out of business they are totally rearranging everything and plan on having grand reopenings. But I am an 18-20 and the ones around here seem to have a lot of really nice stuff. I guess I'm lucky I love shopping. Being a Gurl can be such fun

Just a note on a slight correction on your original post that started this thread. K-Mart bought Sears! That's hard for me to accept. But technically, the financier that brought K-Mart out of bankrupcy and back to profitability is the one that is buying controlling interest in Sears. I suspect that unprofitable stores in each chain will be closed.

Since you mentioned K-Mart I'll try to get by one and see what I can get that I need. I haven't been in one in years.

Yes I have shopped at K-Mart and they sometimes have a few nice clothes in the plus sizes. But watch their pantys they run really small and you will have to buy at least two sizes larger.
