I always put the toilet seat down, in fact I glued it down. Now, what was the question? Did I read this too fast? These polls are getting so complicated, I can't check all the boxes anymore.

Makeup? Well, I stand to do my makeup. Mouth open when doing mascara - of course - if you read the instructions for mascara, that's actually necessary for proper application. It says so right in the Maybelline User's Manual, chapter 5, page 47 paragraph 5-2-7.

I haven't gotten to Chapter 12. Advanced Techniques for Runway Models yet, so I don't know if you have to stand when someone else is applying it, but I don't think so, because in the makeovers I've had, I'm always sitting. But I'm thinking when Runway Modeld have their makeup applied, that a glass of wine is mandatory. Zinfandel anyone?

Both, it depends where i am when i,m doing my makeup and of course i have mouth open when i do my mascara, it goes on wrong otherwise :doh:

I sit when I am serious about putting on my make-up. If all I'm doing is a little lipstick and eyeliner or something, then I stand. Thanks for asking, Tina.

I sit, mainly because I can't see worth a darn with my glasses and I need to get up close to the mirror when doing my eye makeup. Therefore I sit for the whole thing!

How about 1/2 sitting on the counter to get closer to the mirror? Still one foot on the floor, so I guess that's standing. ;^)

Doncha luv euphemisms.
When you get older you'll find sitting is easier and more practical.
It also reduces friction in the home with the GGs.
But being able to stand has its uses when one gets caught out away from home.

Yes bending over slightly with a nice tight girlie fabric hugging my bottom and then seeing that familiar face looking back at me ...I smile ...I can't sit still anyway.... never could and when I'm putting on the final touches

It may seem strange to you, but it makes perfect sense to me: I sit to put on all makeup expect lipstick. Then I dress, put on wig, jewelry, nails, and everything else. Lastly, I put on lipstick while standing in high heels. Anybody else do that?
