Hi girls(ladies),{ gentlemen also}
I just had to write & say what a wonderful day today was. It's my birthday & work gives us that day off so I made an appointment at the salon. Had my nails done, cut & perm, they all made me feel like I wasa one of the family but the better part was when I stopped at Perkins(restaurant) to get some muffins to take to them for a treat. As I left the store a man opened the door & one walked thru & then said sorry for not waiting & the other held the doors open, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I have made it to the passing stage & it put me on cloud 9 for the rest of the day. It's funny how one enjoys the small things so much that when something big happens we go into shock.
I hoped you enjoyed reading this & remember good things come to those who wait & work at it.
Love ya all,
Janelle

Janelle, I can believe just how you feel. I remember how I felt at my first 'cloud 9' moment. I was on my mountain bike and was dressed up at the time when I had to pass close to a guy and he said 'morning maam' to me and it made me realize that I passed as a woman and it made me feel so incredibly wonderful. I have been out dressed many times since but that first time passing was a feeling I will never forget.

Love getting my nails done, but my employer had issues with acryllics, even though they were "active length" and just lightly pink. Wonder what he'd think of my red toes?

Cloud nine is exactly what i felt the first timeI went out as Donna....I had a hotel room at Harrah's in Tunica.......took me about three hours before I was satisfied with how I looked....and another hour to get up my nerve to go out in the hallway......Finally I got on the elavator and down to the casino.......Passing the guard going into the casino was my first big worry........Was wonderfull day from then on......yes...."cloud nine" for sure.
