These last four years have gone by so fast, but now as I prepare for the next step it seems like time is standing still. I guess I'm bit impatient at times. For example I just wished the facial hair removal would not take so long. Seems like the closer I get to the transitional point the more of dream it seems like. Some times I look back and wounder how I got here, but I know were I belong. The funny thing is almost al off the girls I know that transtioned said it happened faster than they expected.

Everything goes faster the more you get older, but sometimes it feels like you're not even moving when you're at an important step in your life. I thought that I was stuck in the slow lane when I started my transition, now I look back and feel amazed at how fast it all happened to get where I'm at now. Just try to relax, let it be and enjoy the ride.

Four years ago I was still "Bill," still fighting myself every day, and chronically depressed as hell. That's only 1/13th of my life -- not very long when you think about it.

Things drag out while we are in the midst of significant changes and events, but they also pass by remarkedly fast in hindsight. Count me among those who are flabbergasted at the speediness and relative ease of the post-transitioning period of our lives.
