View Full Version : How often do you fully dress up in female clothing?

Emily Anderson
07-09-2008, 01:15 PM
This question is about getting fully dressed in female clothing, NOT just underdressing.

Fully dressing - for the purpose of this question - is only about the clothing: not the wig, makeup, or accessories.

Bonus question: Do you feel "complete" with the clothing only, or do you you think the wig, makeup and accessories are a necessity?

Fully is as far as a woman would consider being dressed, depending on the circumstances.

That's fine. You're fully dressed for bed.

I had to vote daily since I have no male clothing. I don't wear a wig but my hairstyle is definitely more feminine than masculine. I'm also lucky enough to not need forms to fill my C cup bras which I wear daily.

That being said, I don't get much of an opportunity to wear skirts, dresses, or overtly feminine things. Make up and jewelry are also rare treats for me to be able to wear. My look is normally on the feminine side of neutral, but feminine none the less.

You sure do like these poll questions. :D

Before my wife left it was rarely. Right before she moved out the desire completely left. Now the desire is back and I finally get to enjoy it. I am trying to build up the courage to go out in public en femme. I know that their is no way that I will ever pass, but it is ok. I just want to know what I look like dressed as a woman.

For me it's all or nothing. I've got to see Renee looking back in the mirror.
When I'm home I'm Renee. Except for when the kids or friends are over. By friends, I mean friends who are outside my CD circle of friends. The ones that know Renee, see Renee. Hope that explains it.

Well.. Up until this last few weeks its been every week.. Sometimes twice a week... And then there's a business trip next week.. And a 3 dayer the week after.... I'd say on average it's 45 times a year... Yeah.. That looks right.. And there have been stretches of months where I haven't at all... And times where I dress 24/7 for days in a row... All depends on my schedule...

Now for the bonus question.. Is there a prize for answering correct or something? :).

Ok. When I dress it's all the way...

Hmmmmmm. I didn't hear bells and whistles going off when I typed that so that must not be the right answer?? Do I get another try?? Lol

Just wearing a few items does nothing for me at all.. Once in a while I won't dress but will still play with makeup and hair for practice... .

I do the same probally cause I don't have any guy PJ's and don't want any.
As for feeling complete without forms wig etc. no I don't feel complete but I don't feel that they are a must either.

Things have improved since my retirement. I now get to dress up 4 - 5 times a week for 2 to 3 hours each. Yes, I fully dress with at least powder, blush and lipstick. Sometimes I go all the way and add all the eye makeup, perfume, jewelry and nail polish. Only down side is I don't have a wig yet and it's all in stealth mode.

fully dress - one or more times a month.

Most of my CD'ing is kind of a dress-down version.

Hi I dont always dress as fully as i would like meaning with makeup and wig but dressing is deep for me so some times i just get to wear some shoes or just a skirt and a top.

This summer its once a week due to my kids moving in with me. (my son does not know I dress...daughter does) Usually I get to go clubbin Saturday Nites since the kids go places and spend the night with friends usually.

Normally its all weekend then one or two week nights also. I really thought I had CDing in balance and it was not totally out of control. But I am finding getting to dress only once a week this summer really has me craving more femme time. I freaking dream about dressing and think about it tons!!! Did not do that when I could dress 5 times a week.

Oh well...I am lucky I am single, live in a liberal city where ya can run around enfemme and most of the year live alone so I should be thankful. Makes me feel guilty I should be enjoying my time with da kids more...but just keeping it real here.

Hugs

Hard to answer, Is wearing panties, fem sized denim shorts and a tee and flpflops considered fully dressed then it is every day. Otherwise it varies on whether I have the house to myself or not or whether I can get out and dress.

I selected a few times a month, even though I wear a nightie to bed nightly.

bonus: No, I don't need the wig and makeup to feel complete.

Almost every evening for me and most weekends too.

Plus when I do dress I ALWAYS wear wig, full make up and jewellry etc. To me the accessories are just as important as the clothes and I dont feel fully dressed without them.

As soon as i get home from work, i jump into the shower and wash the guy away.
Then i dress fully for the evening, eventually changing into a nightie for bed.
On the evenings i go out, i still wear a nightie to bed.

For the Bonus!! I always wear a wig and at least a small amount of makeup when dressed [lippy, eyeliner and mascara, minimum], without them i don,t feel like Debs :)

To Group:

Since Karren and Donna have given feedback, Imma feels duty bound to add something for the group!:2c:

While the number of times per week will vary from none to five, Imma would guess the average to be between two and three times per week.:battingeyelashes:

Since Imma loves wearing both pantyhose and stockings, being firmly girdled up, gartered up, and wearing bra and panties, the time and frequency have increased with wearing these items under my drab male clothes. :D

This concealed crossdressing allows driving, walking, and sitting. Nothing is better than shopping with my wife in this mode. It takes the "male" desire to get in and get out away!:)

After shopping, Imma likes to get fully dressed up, clean the house, and prepare the meals.

Unless we have company, weekends are the days that Imma spends the longest time fully dressed.:o

LOL:heehee:

I dress whenever I can. It seems like it is typically for a couple of weeks at a time a couple of times a year. I would like to do it more often, but my wife does not know, so I do what I can.

For me it is all or nothing. I put on a little lipstick and eyeliner once in a while, but that does not even count (it just feels nice). I don't consider myself dressed unless I have gone "all the way".

I voted daily. As soon as I get home from work and clean up it is into the bra, forms, skirt and top. Heels are a must but some days the wig is just to hot. Every night it is into a nightie and I delay changing into male mode in the morning for as long as possible.

I voted a couple times a week, however, I wear womens jeans and a panty every day. when I get home, I shower, and wear a panty, womens pants and a womens tee top. Every night i wear a nightgown to bed.:heehee: Then saturdays and sundays are my days for sexy lingerie, baby doll or emma tops and womens dress trousers.

I dress about four times a week, more if opportunity allows. I wear something feminine every day, if only for a short while. When I dress, I usually dress all the way, except for eye makeup, fingernails, and perfume. On Saturdays, I go the whole nine yards. I feel that I'm very fortunate to have this much time to dress, and I know it won't last forever. But I love it, and I intend to love it as long as it lasts!

I always put on my tight pants, short jean shorts, track shorts or whatever else is casual and sporty. At night I put on my dresses and nice gowns and such. If my girlfriend and I go out somewhere I might where my heels. I love the reaction people give me. I also always change about 2 or 3 times per day because I'm obsessed! ha ha ha. My girlfriend loves it too!

We are the same size. :)

We enjoy girls nights out at the casino when we really want to spend money. I wanna go noW! We dress up real nice and I ALWAYS wear my 4 1/2 inchers to the casino... always.

In my case, I love my hair and I am growing it long. It is feminine enough so I do not think I need a wig. All I have to do is put elastics in it or wear a headband and it looks great. As long as I am clean cut and nicely shaved makeup just makes it all the better and that is certainly daily.

Since our teen has chosen to live in his home town with grandparents. My dressing is almost daily after I get home from work I am in cute lounge pants or shorts with baby T's or cami tops. I no longer make a production of it I just wear girlie PJ's. Every once in a while I will put on a dress and makeup and the works but that is when my wife is in the mood for a night of special fun wink ,wink, nudge, nudge, say no more

I am retired and live alone so I dress every single day!!! It is not always all the way but most of the time just the clothes. I save the makeup and wigs for those special dressing sessions. Usually it is just casual wear around the house and in the yard or garage. The only time I wear mens clothes is when I have to go to town to take care of business or to visit friends who are not aware of my femme self. I would describe my dressing as 23/6 and I have never been happier in my life!

If I wasn't married and lived alone, I would be dressed like a female every minute I was in my home. If it makes you feel comfortable and sexy, why wouldn't you dress up every chance you had. I would have more female clothes and shoes than I would male clothing.

Well, it used to be whenever I traveled, I would fully dress every evening and sometimes, but seldom, when at home. Don't travel as much now but dress more often at home.
Have to fully be feminine. Full makeup and wig and, of course, fingers and toes have to have nail polish too. Love to be as fem as possible anytime I dress. Keep mu body totaslly hairless 24/7.

I almost answered the poll incorrectly. I consider fully dressing to include make-up, wig and clothing. Unfortunately I do not get the opportunity to dress fully to my definition but I do get to fully dress according to the poster's definition.

Unfortunately not as often as I'd like.."Real life" seems to keep getting in the way of letting me "be me"...My one consession lately has been to sleeping in my favortite long nightie...and hair...Funny thing is..Up until then...I used to toss and turn and have a restless night...But NOW....I'm out like a light as soon as my head hits the pillow and I sleep through the night...I guess it's the feeling of the silk on my body that does it...I'm also going to get a few more different styles and colors so I can mix it up each night...( better for making the nightie in question to last longer too..) :heehee: When I am able to dress fully..that's the way I do..FULLY...Top to bottom...inside and out...attitude ...all female To me, that's the only way to be....Oh sure..I can put on a wig and maybe a little lipstick and blush...but it's not the same for me...I love the entire look and feeling...Once I'm "immersed" into Kendra...I'm in Heaven...

summer is a killer here in the south...hot as can be and very humid so it makes dressing a little harder for me as I still have to shave my face - but i'm planning to get laser'd before the next SCC. :-0

Denise01
07-13-2008, 10:00 AM
In the summer it is difficult for me to fully dress due to working, but I do wear a nightie and panties to bed all the time. Have done so now for over 4 years.

In the fall and winter when i am finished work for the season, I am fully Dressed as Denise about 90% of the time, and that is wearing no male clothing at all.

Even though I live near a small conservative village with too many narrow minded people, in the winter one can hide a lot with a bulky sweater, so when i go to town then, I have enough gender neutual ( Slacks and tops ) that I can go to town fully dressed and no one even notices. The only thing that I do not wear then is my wig and make up.

I am very comfortable now being out fully as Denise, which i Prefer to that of being out Drab. It is my hope that in the near future, that I will be able to re-locate, at which time I will become Denise fully 24/7 and will purge what few guy clothes that i have left.
I have not bought any guy clothes now for well over 4 years. I feel much more comfortable in a nice ladies skirt suit than i do in a guys suit with slacks

I love to dress for the weekends it give me time to but together what I want to wear for the weekend and save me a lot of money.

I know a lot of us work and the weekend is the only time we girls have to go out and paint the town red.

This question continues to pop up from time to time so I may have already replied. If so, forgive the repeat.

I go 24/7 en femme. Complete with wig, makeup, etc.

And I am complete whether I am dressed or naked. The clothes do not make the female but the female makes the clothes.

And I AM WOMAN!

I'd have to say I'm with Danielle here.
I like to put on some "satin tutu" pink eye shadow or lipstick every chance I get but to get all dressed up (with no place to go) it's few and far between.
That's not to say that I don't ever do it, it's just not often enough!

I would like to dress more often but it is very difficult.

When I can I feel I am more myself.

My son enables me to smile every day. The concept of unconditional love and being a father make me very happy.

I also love my wife too much and do not wish to rock the boat with my dressing.

Dressing makes me happy too but in a different way.

I realize how important my dressing is but my wife and son are more important!

I am able to fully dress maybe 2x per month.

I have been dressing female 24/7 ever since I discovered I was really a female person on July 2, 2007.

I wear wigs, usually red with bangs and short, but when I go dancing sometimes I wear long blonde w/bangs, or long red w/bangs. I always wear 5 rings, and 3 bracelets. I nearly always wear a necklace.

I threw away all my men's underwear 3 months ago, since I have only worn women's bikini cut nylon-spandex panties since Jan 2007.

Sometimes I wear a bra with my D cup explants. But sometimes I go casual with braless and tank tops, my own B cups.

I wear lipstick when going out unless I am going to eat right away. I put it on after I eat in any case. I only wear makeup to cover the purpura, purple bruise spots on my hands and arms. I don't need it on my face. My coloring makes my cheeks look like I had rouge on them.

I use baby powder under my arms on my breasts and on my scrotum. I use lotion on my face, a wrinkle cream around my mouth and other on the rest of my face.

I did something unusual tonight and stayed dressed all evening after I came back in this afternoon from Target.
Usually I sit around nude or in a nightgown (female of course, like I have worn for about 10 years.)

I like to dress fully. Which is very difficult with my work, and the time it takes to get all dressed up, although my partner does encourage me. if it's not the whole hog i am disheartend. usually end up settling for a nice chemise and some purfume in the evenings.

I agree that the issue is what does "fully dressed" mean? I dress every night in panties and nightie but actually dressing up with wig and makeup I do only a couple of times a month. However, since GG's go to bed only wearing panties and nighties with no makeup I think I am as fully dressed as a GG at night so voting "daily" is probably the right vote for me. :)

I said a few times a year. Because of my busy schedule and responsibilities I don't have the opportunity to dress often but when I do it is usually for a long weekend or a week. I go all out with acrylic nails, makeup and clothing. I live totally as a female during those times and enjoy them so much. It is only a few times a year, but for several days each time.

Once or twice a month on average - more during cooler months, less during summer. For me, I have found that if I do more than that, it tends to get old. (I guess I am on the lower half of the continuim) When I first gave myself permission to be OK with my crossdressing, I would dress much more often, but over the years that slowed to my current level with occasional bursts of activity. For me, not dressing so often sort of gives me the feeling of excitement of newness each time I do. During my regular days ie. at work, I generaly don't think about it except when I see a GG wearing something I like (usually something comfortable) and then I wish I could wear that too.

I bought a pair of women's capri's in seersucker a week ago, I went out tonight to dance and dinner wearing them, and my pink embroidered tank top with my red 44d bra under.

Oh my, I wore pants, does that make me a CD now?:Angry3::daydreaming::love:

I have been living as a woman 24/7 for two weeks while everyone else in the house is gone on vacation. It has been one of the happiest times of my life.

If I didn't dress daily, I wouldn't go to work! I made the choice and I am sticking by it.

Photos from Tuesday on the way to and at work. (Don't you know I look for any opportunity to post my pictures?)

Your sis,

Tami

Tamara,

I just want to say your pics look good. You really know how to pull it off.

Myself, I usually dress up before I go to work and if I come right after work instead of hitting the bar, I dress up as I am now, wearing my dress that I bought at Penney's last Sat.

I voted every day. I almost always change as soon as I get home from work. Sometimes if I don't, my wife asks if I am ok. But if I am home and have a few free hours, I am Dee.

And for the Bonus Question: I need the wig, jewelry and at least some makeup to feel fully dressed.

I don't dress as often as I would like to, sometimes only two or three times a month. I just dress most of the time, I save make-up and the wig for special occasions.

I dress every day as I am retired and have lots of free time. I even love to ride my Harley in my tight leather riding outfit.

Being dressed fully for me usually means just a babydoll nightie and panties around the house in the morning as I clean the house. If I'm lucky, I get 1 or 2 mornings a week when I have the house to myself.

As for makeup or wigs... I have no use for them... I am more than happy to look in the mirror and see ME dressed the way that makes me happy.
