hi all...

I was wondering what everyone does for an excercise routine.

I ask because, while I'm not a very advanced CD, its always in the back of my mind. I ride my bike a lot which has helped my legs, which once winter hits will be shaved again. :)

I ask more for my upper body & arms. Recently I started lifting weights (mostly bench lifting) with my male friends. While I love the way it makes me feel, i'm worried I won't be very femme if I get to defined. My ape arms don't help me as is.

What is everyones experience with this?

Well I play ice hockey one or two times a week... And all my team mates have seen my entire shave body week in and week out for years... Never had a problem as long as I can put the puck in the net... Eah? Lol. I also workout at home.. Take walks at lunch and evenings with the wifey...

I've gone bike riding fully enfemme a few times.. For exersize and the only problem I've ever had... Try setting for a long time tucked on a bike seat!! :)

I work out at my local YMCA 7 days a week. And everytime I go, I am CD'ing! Always panties, and sometimes a bra. Plus, all my workout outfits ( I have 8) are female! I don't even own any male workout clothes! Nobody ever says anything to me, unless they are complimenting me on a particular outfit!

Karren, that description of bike riding sounds like a very big OUCH!!

Well, I was more curious about excercise regimes, not working out as a CD. I appreciate all the thoughts though. :) And A definate YOWCH to cycling tucked!

Won't certain excercises accentuate the "manly" muscles more than the feminine?

Women lift weights, too, although the goal is usually more about toning than building. You can lift weights in a way that will "crossover," so to speak and allow a transition from one to the other.

The key is to use lighter weights with more repetitions. This tends to tone your body -- arms, chest, abs, legs -- without building a lot of size. And it looks good in either male or female mode. It's not like women don't have muscles, too!

Also, it is important to stretch your muscles before and after workouts -- this, too, ensures that your muscles will tone and tighten more than build mass.

Lifting combined with a variety of cardio options -- running, swimming, basketball, tennis -- will keep you fit and trim. Again, it looks good either in guy or girl mode.

Now, if I would just consistently follow my own advice!!!

OK guess I'm the strange one. (again) But I have all the "of steel" video's abs of steel buns of steel etc... I have been using them 3-4 times a week for wow I don't remember how long. I also have started yoga for flexability and pilates for cardio. My bicepts are about 10 1/2 inches around so definately on the girly side but I am fit and healthy so that's what counts. Any exercise is good just don't over do it. Wish you luck.

I am very active so I don't have an exercise routine other than biking. To keep the upper arms smallish or toned is difficult. You have to almost do nothing with them, don't lift anything heavy, etc.

I do mainly cardio stuff...a bit of swimming, a little cycling and mainly running right now. But I also do a limited workout and stretch session carefully chosen so as *not* to make me develop like Arnie. Main exercise is pushups. These are great for toning stomach muscles but, most of all, I have developed quite prominent pectorals which function great as bra fillers. Only a small amount of extra padding is needed for me to fill a B-cup.

You've got some good advice. The rule of thumb for people who don't want to bulk up is, as Stephanie Scott said, is high reps/low weights.

Stretching is important especially after the workout. Pre workout it is much more important to warm up the muscles then do some stretching. A warmed up muscle stretches better and develops better than a cold muscle. it also prevents injury better.

Everyone should do some type of workout!
