Open Chat Room

Is there a reason that anyone knows of that there isn't a open chat room, where we could chat with each other on an instant basis. Or go to a one on one instant chat line here. I think that might be a very good thing for a site like this. Just a thought, when I see others asking for help. I know you can leave your thoughts here, but if the person had a instant response then if there were any other questions about the subject they could be answered at the moment , not a few days later..........Your thoughts?

Another forum I know uses a chatroom from AddOnInteractive which integrates well with vBulletin software - just provides an extra dropdown on the menu bar and validates members if they're signed into the forum. One of our fun nights is a Thursday regular quiz night.

Might not be right for here though. Don't know if there's much history to NOT having a chatroom but monitoring issues may be a factor.

But there is always a few people who can not follow the rules and ruin it for everyone.

So we don't have one anymore.
