Shopped for my first ever outfit! (pics)

Hi girls,

You probably think, "oh is that all", but this was a BIG deal for me, i went to my local shopping town, and bought my very first outfit!!!

I was there for 3 hours!!!!! (one of which was going into shops looking at what i wanted, and getting enough courage to look through the rails and buy something!)

Anyway i came away with a lovely denim skirt, a lovely girly top and a pair of slouch boots (wanted these for ages) and a first, a pair of court pumps which i love, but unfortunately they rub too bad and i am going to change them for something else. (bigger size if they have them)

I do most of my shopping at Goodwill and Salvation Army thrift
stores. Good stuff, very good prices, and nobody pays any mind.
I just pick up a few drabs, some girlie things, and head for the
dressing room. It's fun, and exciting.
Try the stores in the better areas.

sweet girl! wow you look great hun! man, I recall the times I used to be too nervous at even looking in the womens sections! My heart pounding, hoping that no one coould see me! Today, its such an amazing gift to just out and buy girl stuff! I love it and sometimes I do see other guy's sneaking around! I smile! and think how sweet! just reminded me of those days of girl shopping! again! you look great girl! nice outfit! way to go! ;) :cool:

Hi hon, I like the outfit best with the heels, I too remember the excitement and nervousness when shopping. I get most of my girl clothes at good will and other such places, except shoes, have to buy them new. How sweet it is!

wow that is a great outfit. I'm sure first day shopping is a big deal. Hope I can do that some time. Still haven't had the nerve yet. Also I think it looks much better with the heels also

Yes, i really love the look of the skirt with the shoes too, its really annoying that they rub so much, the shoes and boots are both UK size 8 got them from the same store, the boots are like slippers, veeeery comfy, but just wearing the shoes for 10mins made my feet sore, so i will try and get them in a 9, if not i will go somewhere else!

The best bit, is the outfit i am wearing including the shoes and boots came to £60 about $100!
