Home alone today and thought I'd post something that bothers me a little. Is it me or do others feel the glorious summer time is not the best time to pursue crossdressing. And going to our favorite lingerie and clothing sites just seems to make it worse. Married with a grudgingly tolerant wife, I am not "allowed" to shave my legs when other "men" are walking around in shorts. My wife says that she'd be mortified if I walked around with smooth legs. Also, feeling I just had to put something pretty on (Delta Burke light support girdle), I caught an earful the other morning and told I should start being a man.

Sheessshhh...Hurry October!

Yep yep yep... Too damn hot for nylons.. Now ya know why the real girls don't wear them either.. My wife also insists I pass as a male in the summer but I still like to get out enfemme.. Mainly in the evenings when its cooler and I wear thigh highs.. But I keep my leg hairs pruned with electric clippers and a depth guide and I bleech the hairs with blonde hair color (same as I use on my arms) and although not the same as shaving.. Its in the close enough catagory to get me through the too loog, too hot summer!!

What else ya going to do? Move to the Artic! Lol

Well, if you did shave your legs, there is nothing anyone can do!

Sure there is Emma... Wife hires a lawyer and sues for divirce... Loose the family and house.. Lose hundreds of thousands of dollars.. The economics of "fuzzy summer legs" is overwhelming!! Hahaha.

Sad thing is... I've had mine shaved for 3 or four years now and nobody notices. Heck, I wear shorts with hose in the summer and when I pointed it out to a GG friend of mine she did a double take and said she hadn't noticed in the two years she had known me. Bare legs, no big deal.

Treat the wife to an awayday(s) so she can get pampered or shop whilst you enjoy the opportunity to be yourself.

Perhaps you could negotiate with her before dressing rather than her getting a surprise?

Same here. No one has ever commented on my legs. Mine stay shaved.

Mine stay trimmed anyway, but I agree, it is too hot here in summer for too much dressing up. CDing is more of a non-summer thing for me.

On the other hand, home alone, air con up high....damn, planet warming and we all drown as the ice melts

All about compromises. I know it's a bummer to grow the hair out in the summer, but a happy wife is a happy you. And, might as well let the leg hair stay on a couple of "extra" weeks into the fall. Nothing like setting up a red herring for something like a belly button piercing or trip to the spa for a french pedicure next winter.

Hell my toes have been painted for the last month, been to fairs movies and all over in my flip flops and no one cares, why would they notice shaved legs?

It may not change the way your wife feels but what everyone said holds true for me too - No one notices or cares about my shaved legs, I have had them hairless for about 10 years.

And your wife is not going to divorce over you shaving your legs.

Supportive SO hasn't (and won't) give me the 'go ahead' to shave for the summer...:) As much fun as we have dressed together 'indoors', she has a huge fear of me being outted to her friends..

We've been on rides together 'dressed' and I truly think she would like to 'show her sissy boyfriend' to my friends, but God forbid that her friends find out! Her sister would be absolutely mortified...

So, unfortunately, we stay 'hairy'... YUK!!:o

I shave every where except my head. My wife likes me to have long hair on my head. The rest she doesn't care about. :) :o :battingeyelashes:
