The only complaint I have for the keyboard is that if your fingernails are slightly long they might get caught under the keys, this shouldn't be a problem for most males though

I found this comment interesting. Makes one wonder if perhaps the reviewer has some inside knowledge? :)

I've typed on a LOT of different keyboards and have never had that kind of problem!

My biggest issue with typing is not the length, it's polish flaking off of the tips of the nails as they flex while typing.

When I'm lazy about clipping my fingernails, mine actually do get caught in the keys. I think it might depend on how fast you type. I go about 90 wpm without trying (110 when I'm making an effort to be fast), so my fingers are tripping all over the place and they would get caught on something fairly easily.

Definately interesting that they say MOST males. I didn't realize there was a perception that there may be many folks like us. :2c:

The gap between the keys on my keyboard prevent that from happening.

Long nails just slow me down some, when I do curved nails, it screws up my typing a lot...LOL....

In chat, I can always tell when a GG friend has her long long nails on...

There are a lot more misspellings!

(No I don't really mind.....It's the grammar thing that really gets me!)

Jenn,

If you use a good topcoat, you should not have any flaking!! My nails are about 3/8 of an inch beyond the tips of my fingers and are rounded in the traditional feminine way. I don't have any problems on the keyboard, other than the fact that I can't type anyway!:heehee:

With my nails long I loose the ability to comunicate.... Electroncally that is... Its even worse on my Blackberry... That's why I keep my nails short.. And then I will split my thumb nails down the middle using the BB too much.. I guess being online most of my waking hours at MuT and here could possibly contribute to that too... . :)

That makes sense. I just have to remember to reapply the topcoat every day or two. I've been so busy lately, it is really hard to keep up!
