12 hours without my nails painted

So, for the past 9 years, I've painted my toenails religiously, every Sunday night (with maybe a dozen exceptions when I paint them a day or two later). So I found a fab neon pink color three weeks ago when I was on vacation, so I decided to keep that color on until it wore away (I guess I was hoping for the "neglected look"). So this afternoon I took it off and then went colorless to a pool party and then to a baseball game (with sandals). I have to admit, I was horrified to see my toes "naked" and tonight I painted them red again. It was literally the fist time in nine years that I've gone out without polish. I couldn't handle it, it looked so bad. After I painted them again I realized just how deep I was into this lifestyle. It made me happy (and my toes look fabulous too!) Just thought I'd share!

Two weeks ago we took a family vacation to Florida and I had my polish removed and replaced with clear for the trip. Now I could wear sandals to the beach and to the places we visited. I couldn't wait to return home and have my beloved "hot pink" polish put back on. I was so excited that when I expressed my delight to Tina, my nail tech, she painted two darling flowers on the big toenail. I am finding it more and more difficult to cover my feet.

We all are going to get brave enough to go out in drab with our toes exposed!

I had not polished my toe nails for about 6 months, but last nite had some alone time and polished them. I forgot how sexy it looks, I got to get some new colors now and keep them polished.

Why not just keep you toes polished and show them off? It really is not a big deal. Athletes, UFC fighters, and recently Tori Spelling's husband have been doing this. There was even an article on the OPI website under Suzi's Blog about men wearing nail polish on their toes (check out for "for men" section and you will find this article).

My toenails are polished bright red and are on display 24/7 for everyone to see. I get a lot of compliments from women on my pedicures and choice to color.

I think it looks really cute with shoes that expose the toes (the right colors of course!). but I don't usually paint mine, nor do I have shoes at the moment.

Hey Girls, I fully understand how you feel! It isn't very often that my toenails are not polished, but when they not, I feel as if I'm not wearing all my clothes or something:eek:. In my wonderful situation my wife and I always match in our toenail color so I keep hers done for my veiwing pleasure and she does mine for hers! :hugs:I have it soo good! Kaitlin
