Hi girls what don't you like about being a girl and be honest? i hate how women are pertraded as the house keeper of the house. to me it should be a job for both male and femails theres has to be a co-operation between both

Without taking this in another direction, there was an equal rights thingy quite a few years back. Yet we still show limitations on what women should be able to do. This includes jobs, etc Here we see things like advertising where you hear "Ladies - free drinks all night and no cover charge" Why? Simple. Women don't make a fuss about it but while they're being pampered and getting slooshed, men have an easier atvantage of appealing to their limited self control under the influence of alchohol. I wouldn't mind free drinks for 'awhile' but 'all night' seems like a come on to attract women to become demoralized.

When do you 'ever' hear "Guys - free drinks all night and no cover" at a club? Oh well neither side complains but that doesn't make it right. And then there's the issue of women's pay in the job market... hmmm me thinks I'll step off the soap box now  :D

Yeah, what's up with Ladies' night?
I keep wondering if I'd get in for free or not. But I don't think the perk is worth the embarassment... No, not embarassment... Something else. Not anger, but... annoyance? Sure, that's closest I guess. The perk isn't worth the annoyance of being outed. I don't go places on Ladies Nights.

Oh, yeah, and I could give you a list of HUNDREDS of things I hate about being a girl. But I won't bore you unless you want me to. lol

I think the thing that disturbs me the most is the fact that there has to be a seperation between the sexes at all. We are all people why can't that be enough.

Men the world over seem to think that women should be put on a pedistal and displayed like a trophy or something, it just drives me crazy to see things like that.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that women should not be treated special. I think that every husband or boyfriend should treat their woman special but the rest of the men that meet the same woman should see her for who she is and what she is capable of outside the house not what she can do in bed.

The other thing is the difference in the price of clothes. What the F**k. I can't believe women have put up with the price difference between mens and womens clothes. Maybe that is why so many women wear mens clothes so much. They are cheaper and more durable than womens clothes.

I guess that is the price we pay for being women.

Hello Star................... I love everything about being a girl (ok a Tgirl),

I am a real housewife though and I am in heaven with it, I love it I think it makes you the most relied upon member of the family.

I would be happier to be a real wife and mother but I am living the next best thing :)

:) Hi Star,
For me this is a very hard question, because I would have loved to be a girl. It's hard for me to communicate with boys, all macho and talk about footy instead of the new fashion.
The worsth part would be someone saying 'you can't do this, you are only a woman'.
An other thing I don't like is that we live still in a male chavinist world, look in the Parlament not many girls there. And you most likely heard about the CEO MS. Walters from the National Bank, the boys club didn't want her, and so on.
Also it is not acceptable that woman still get halve the pay as man, look in sport for example.
This all things which I wouldn't like being a girl.
But all the other things, including house work which I love, it is nice to be a girl sometime.
By for now from Norbie. :D

that goes for so many of us doesn't it?

so if we don't like boys we are either more straight than the average guy (who likes going around in a group of guys) or we are lesbian.

I would rather like to be the second.

I dislike the time it takes to 'get the look' right. I take forever getting ready and it can become a bit of a hassle.

I often run late for work because after I put on undies/pantyhose, it takes a while to put on the AVON face creams, transparent lip conditioner, etc...

But at home in full dress, it just takes so loooonng to get ready. But then again my wife used to take a long time to get ready anytime!

Some of the derogotory names that men use for women. I don't have to tell ya'll. You know them.
Other than that I think being a woman is the the greatest privilege in this world.
I think that every littl girl should be spoiled from the day she is born. Women wre meant to be spoiled, protected, and adored. I don't care what the "libbies" say, I want the door to be opened for me, the chair pulled back, and men to jump to get my attention.
I don't need them to pass laws, I have the power. " Lord, help us, baby's got her blue jeans on," to quote Mel McDaniels.
I like what, when asked what he thought about women's lib, Telly Zavallas said," I don't have anything against it. I think those sweet little thing ought to have anything they want." Nuff said.

I am totally with Veroinca (and Crispy) here, I just can't stand guys!
The only down side of being a girl is having to put up with guys.
That's why I could easily be a lipstick lesbian.

Of course I have never had to deal with biological issues of being a girl, I'm not sure I could handle the hormonal effects either

I'm with all you Girls on this, I hate hving to put up with guys who have beer bellys are swearing, being obnoxious because they think its funny, etc etc when out with the lads. Much prefer girls and have a lesbian mindset when when i'm dressed as a girl.

How about the way guys talk to a woman's chest??
I've lost count on how many times I've seen guys talking to women while staring directly at their tits!
If they would focus their attention just a little bit north, they would be able to look right into her soul!
You can pick so much up about a woman by looking in her eyes....but guys just don't get it!!

I don't like spending too much time in front of my mirrors. I think they are defective; they don't properly reflect the pretty young girl that I think I am. But I do love to see my feminine clothes. They certainly are pretty!! I wish I looked half as good as the rest of you do. Love, Joyce S

Can't think of anything negative that I wouldn't be willing to deal with. Maybe the need to have to apply make-up every day, even when I'm not in the mood.

Well... For GGs I can tell you there is planty to deal with in the, erm... Menstral department.
For instance, today I was having horrible cramps (although not as bad as sometimes, when they're so bad I can't stop crying-- and I NEVER, EVER cry when I'm hurt) and felt nauseous all day, and yarked twice... Think you'd like to deal with that 10% of your life from age 11 to age 45? Not to mention the PMS and the inconvenience (and occasional embarassment) of it all... And then menopause? Jesus Christ...
Not to discourage or gross anybody out but that's just me... So sorry if that was kind of icky.
Of course, not all GGs have this problem... I think I must have endomytriosis or something... But I am just SO envious of males for not having to deal with this ******** every month. It just seems SO unfair, to me.

But we all have our reasons for liking and hating what we do, I suppose.

I think boys are icky too. Seriously having had a relationship with someone who wanted to identify in a male role, however seem to take all the negative male qualities to heart. I wasnt treated with respect, I was however held responsible for everything. Even things beyond my control.

I think it depends on if your talking about the general role of being a girl, or some dysfunctional nightmare.

My realm was my home, but no matter how hard I worked it was never right. If I cooked something, one day it was good, the next time it was the worse thing on the face of the earth.

I was wrong in what I said or didn't say, and spent most of my time trying to make things, I had no control over right. And in the end being punished anyway.

In the end I got some trinkets, and some issues that I will be spending as long in therapy to iron out as I did in the relationship, if I ever can.

Guilt is a part of being a girl, I could do without.

Gee that's Hard. Some women have told me what they don't like about being a girl:
shaving legs Ouch!
not be taken seriously by men
periods
low paying jobs
plucking eyebrows Ouch!
men treating them as sex objects and not as people
having to sit when they pee. " All the world is a toilet to a man"

It would fun to have 1st hand experience.
Hugs Mia Lynn ;)

I have the same problems, and I've been told that it's because I have too many male hormones, believe it or not! :D And yes, that's one of the most annoying things about being a girl... another thing is that you can't just wear the shirts you want. Shirts with print don't look as good as they do on guys. And unless you want every guy you meet to stare at your chest, you can't just put on a t-shirt when it's warm.
