I was dicussing this subject with one of my girlfreinds today.
The Q.is if you are a gay man which ear do you wear the one earring in left or right?
She said the left ear. My guy says the right which is it?
I bought some small hoops today the spring type because I'm not pierced.

They use to claim if it was in your left ear you were straight as that is the side the wedding ring goes on. But like its been stated I don't think it makes a whole lot of differance these days. Good luck sweetie.

I swap sides some days rather than wearing two. I can't say I have met any new 'interesting' friends as a result.

Oh just get them pierced and wear earrings (stud diamond ) full time. No matter which ear gets pierced or both you'll still get asked if your gay by some old coddre. By the time your ears heal, it'll be old news and no one will say a thing.

This is one reason why I wear earrings in both ears -- it's too confusing otherwise. The other reason is that my head tilts to the side if I only have one on. :)

I wouldn't pay much attention to that anymore, hardly any guys/gals wear just one earing.... besides, wear them in both ;) I always thought having one ear pierced was pointless...

Left... no RIGHT...awe heck, better to cover your bases and do both. :)

Honestly, I think that 'what it means in which ear' thing died more than 10 years ago when wearing earrings became a more common thing for many guys, gay or straight.

If YOU don't remember which is which, odds are nobody else will either.
