I little while ago my son 10 years old, was having a problem taking my DW's underwear. ( I was still completely in the closet at this time an my son has never seen me dressed up) This bothered my DW (stepmom) to a large degree, especially since she could not find anything to wear at times. So we confronted him. Since I know the feelings he was likely having I simply asked him if we were to get him his own female underwear if he would stop stealing it from my DW. To my surprise, he agreed rather than full denial. We just told him to keep it private as it could really cause emotional harm if it got out at school at his age. This seemed to end the problem with him. I have since come out to my DW seeing after seeing her willingness to understand, but it is still a little rough. Has anyone else seen traits like this in your kids. How did you handle it?
