Now that you all have had a few days to simmer down after venting on me I would like to clear some things up. First of all I do not live in the urban jungle that most of you do, 4 lanes of bumper to bumper traffice going 80MPh. I am in an area where I am sure the people from the plains states can relate to, it is not uncommom to travel 15mins or more and not be passed or catch up to another vehicle. As far as having a head on collission and killing some innocent family read the post correcly. I am driving down the freeway, so the other vehicle must be going the wrong way down the freeway. Now how many of you on your 5 day week stop and pick up a steaming cup of coffee on the way to work, pull out back onto the road as you try and get the lid off without burning yourself or spilling coffee all over your fancy SUV, fumble with opening a disc or cassette to put into the player, chat on the phone, looking at the GPS and try to make it work or find out where you are. How many of you has taken off a jacket without pulling over at a rest stop. If you do any of these things then you are more of a menace on the road than I was putting on a bra on a lonely streach of freeway. Bobbie Anne

I bring along a travel mug of coffee I made at home that has a "drink through" lid.
fumble with opening a disc or cassette to put into the player,
Ipod, just hit the "next" button, and I know where that is without looking.
chat on the phone,
Bluetooth.... handsfree
looking at the GPS and try to make it work or find out where you are.
Don't have it, if I'm going somewhere I have never been, I take along directions and usually have a co-pilot who can also be navigator. GPS didn't come with my pickup truck and I can't see spending hundreds of dollars on an aftermarket GPS that does basically what I can do with directions from Mapquest. Do you know how many pairs of shoes I could buy with that money???? LOL...
How many of you has taken off a jacket without pulling over at a rest stop.
Can't say as I have taken anything off or put it on while moving. Red lights are handy for ditching a jacket.

Freeway=high speed. How fast can you put on a bra? At "freeway" speeds, i.e. 75 mph, you travel 110 feet per second. That's over 6000 feet a minute, or better than a mile a minute. If it takes you two minutes to put that bra on, you've travelled two and a half miles.
Granted you said:
It is not uncommon to travel 15mins or more and not be passed or catch up to another vehicle.
you didn't say it was impossible or that it never happened.
I was driving on the Turnpike, 70 mph speed limit and the guy in front of me started slowing down. I passed to his left and looked over, he was either dialing the phone or texting.... what made it really a stupid thing to do is we were passing a rest stop at the time.'
There are fools who do things that endanger others, and yes, those things you mention are foolish, but others doing them doesn't justify someone else doing something equally foolish/dangerous.
I'm not saying I don't ever do something foolish, but I surely try not to do something like that. Please stay safe, hun.

Attention Ladies, If you have ever done anything dumb in your life, please remember that you are no longer entitled to be critical of other people's dumb acts. Thank goodness I learned this after the children were grown and gone. My two cents.

I know many others do stupid things, I see it every day but that doesn't excuse those actions.
You would have looked a right t*t if you had had a blowout in the middle of it wouldn't you?

We are not going to have another argument over this, use a designated bra next time, this thread is closed.
