when i first crossdressed it felt like all i could think about were panties and skirts and bras, thats all i really looked into or experimented with...but latley it seems like my tastes have matured, i still love the cloths, but i look more for wigs, shoes, places to get my nails done, etc...feels like ive grow from a little teenage girl to a full woman! it feels so good to say that!

i can understand what u are saying, when i was younger i loved lil pretty fluffy dresses. Ie lil girl clothes,) but today, i tend to love clothes thatfit my age, but still quite feminine. for example, i am wearing at the present a very nice conservative black skirt, and blue top w/ tights.

as we get older your correct saying that we change. i call these my "periods" thank goodness its the only one i get! Im now into my "catch up" period. Im doing my best to catch up with my waist!!! I really hate periods. And i dont advocate tights this time of year!! Whew, too hot.

Your female persona never has to grow up! Much less, "mature"! Lol.:D

I tend to accessorize rather more now than I used to.

I agree with others. I will now wearshorts and jeans, tights not stockings and match things better. I do still love glam dresses in the evening though!

I'm trying to grow up a bit, but I'm still new enough to dressing that I want to look as hot as I can for an old broad. I'm starting to gain a large collection of clothing, shoes, etc., with some conservative pants, tops and jeans. But, I still find myself looking a dresses that someone younger than I would wear and if I find one in my size I'm very tempted. As for my panties, well I can wear what ever I want and do so. No one sees them but my wife and she says nothing.

Yes, I think I've "matured" too, but it sure is nice going back in time and acting and dressing like a teenager too!

In my younger days I enjoyed wearing outfits of the younger crowd, but now I present myself as a classic woman with elegance, refinement, and always age and event appropriate.

If our goal is to emulate the women that we admire, I guess it's almost inevtable that we'll eventually get to dressing like them...

Not to say that dressing like a teeny or twenty-something hottie ain't fun, it sure is!

But if you want to be a woman with depth, with character, not just looks, then our souls tell us to dress the part, neh?

(Not that I'm ever gonna dress like Golda Meir or Margaret Thatcher...but Diane von Furstenburg or Cindy McCain come to mind...)

I understand completely, in fact I spoke to my dear wife about it. I am most comfortable in capris, a nice top, and a sensible pair of heels. Just a natural progression for me.

Me too. As I get older I try harder to dress age appropriate. I don't want to dress like a young girl, I like to look like the 50 year old that I am (well...maybe 40ish:heehee:)

And that means that our wishes and desires are becoming something more than fantasy or fetish... they become closer to real life...:)

And we love you for it, too, Debs!

It's a dirty job, but somebody has to be the blonde bimbo!

Thanks!
