A small but integral step was taken. Sometimes I will refer to myself as a girl in conversation and the usual result is a somewhat frosty silence. This time we were driving down a road, not quite lost but having a great time trying to figure our way back (and no there was no-one around to ask directions) when she refers to the two of us as silly girls. I loved it! Could it have been the halter top I was wearing (just kidding)

had to share

Usually I'm a very 'naughty girl who needs spanking'...

The hard part with such banter is when it comes out in a Wal Mart aisle!

Good for you, silly girl!

(Now, buy yourself a GPS receiver and quit getting lost! :) )

Its little innuendos like that that give you the support that you really need. I tend to always answer with "yes I am" or something like that.

Hope she keeps growing her appreciation of you.

Your sis,

Tami

Sounds like she might be beginning to accept Christie. We've got a lot of freinds who use the "B" word alot, at each other, and we'll sometimes call or refer to Sandra as the "B". LOL

It's great to receive those little comments. My wife & I were watching TV the other evening [me dressed] when I made a comment about a car on an ad. My wife said " I didn't know girls knew so much about cars " She also says things about Davinnia as though she's a person in her own right.

My gf's niece just had a baby. I walked in the room and my gf told me I was an auntie, I let out a loud "yippee!"
