I went out in the Daylight

I went out into the front yard for the first time this evening while it was still daylight. While I was bending over looking into the mailbox, I got 2 honks from drivers passing by. It made me feel like a million bucks. For as selfconsious as I am, it felt wonderful to have others to admire me. One day soon, I'll get the courage up to go out in public for real, but for now this was as exciting as I could imagine. I've been out with a friend before but being in public just seems so much more exciting.
