Has anyone been to "PINK PUNTERS"?

Hi Girls,
Has anyone been to Pink Punters in Milton Keynes, U.K? Its a GLTG night club.
I'm working away from home and have only been out 'dressed' a couple of times to the London Fetish Fair. Their website seems to look pretty good and they're having a TG night on 13 Sept.
I would love to hear from anyone who has been there.

never been, but the general vib about the place seems to be good. Hotel near by if you need it, more info can be found on the website, including the hotel across the roads info as well

I've been to PP's many, many times and it's highly recommended! It's my fave hang out by far....not that i've been there for ages due to my personal commitments though :sad:

It is by far the best venue in the area. Girls come from all over for the event which happens every 2nd Friday of the month. You can find me there quite often and not just on trans nights. I'll be there on the 12th September. There is a free BBQ too. Doors open at 21:00. As mentioned in another post, the Campernille Hotel directly opposite the venue is well geared up to expect members of the T community. In fact it is a positive experience, I have eaten there on several occasions prior to going over to PPs even though I live locally.

If you can't make the 12th that does not matter, trans people are welcome there any time it is open, but if you want to only come on T nights then every 3rd Saturday is also reasonably attended.

Yes we have been and plan to visit again. We really enjoyed it. Although we went on a Saturday night and stayed at the hotel opposite. The Hotel staff were complaining about the Friday night and the CDs who'd attended. They not only kept other residents up till the early hours because they were swapping rooms and banging doors, but the bedrooms were left in a heck of a state. Infact our friends who had accompanied us had to change rooms because there was excrement all over the bedclothes.
The staff were so displeased that they were talking about not having CDs stay there any more. I dont think it ever came to anything and I dont honestly know how they would be able to do that and get away with it, but I do remember feeling slightly ashamed to belong to a community that would treat a hotel so disrespectfully. There is always going to be a minority who let the side down but thats what people remember isn' it.
Definitely worth a visit though because we met some great people.

Bev is correct here, there was an unfortunate degeneration earlier this year attributed to a smallish minority which nearly spoilt it for every one. This is part of the reason why it is now a "Girls Night Out" hosted by PPs and not the original TVChix "Big Night Out". I'll say no more accept there was a load of threads about it on the www.TVChix.com forum.

Never the less PPs is a good place to go.
