Hiya.
This is not really an out and about story, that's why I have not posted it there, but more a comment on being read.
I have had some great adventures going out over the last couple of years, and if you have a chance to visit some of my threads you will see what I mean.
I went into town on Saturday, ( I only had an hour because of the parking meter ) and visited M&S (UK store) spent about 15 minutes in there, I then headed to Boots Chemists, (they sell make up etc).
I went in, wandered around, but I did intend to purchase something, ( I had a mini list) 3 items. Surgical tape, very useful for sticking things, a lip liner, and some lipstick.
It was great to be able to play about with all the shades of lipstick without feeling self conscious, I love the opportunity to purchase feminine items as Sophie. I then went to the checkout and stood in the short Que, and was called to an assistant to be served.
I handed over my goods, and she took them from me, and then started to look very odd, there was something strange here, by mistake I had given her my old lipstick that I had brought with me to colour match, I took it from her in a joking manner and we both laughed. I also forgot to hand her my lip pencil, that was still in my hand, she tilled up and I realised I still had it in my hand I passed it to her and we smiled again. She asked me if I had a discount card I said no, and asked if I would like a bag to which I replied yes please.
We finished off, I paid and said "thank you" and "bye"
The point about the above little story is I think she only saw Sophie, and not a man as did the assistant who was next to her.
I have not been getting read, `as far as I am aware` even when dealing with people close up (sales assistants mainly), but I was read 3 times on my latest outing on Saturday, not from close up, but 20-50 feet away.
This is a video I took

And someone (who I wont mention, just in case they get shot at) very kindly pm`d me suggesting my posture. She did not know I had been read, but spotted something worth commenting on.
I do welcome negative comments, as they really do help. Please never be afraid to post to me or in my threads what can be seen as negative comments, these negatives can be turned into positives.
I think I have got far to over confident and `slipped` back into my normal male posture.
It is time to get the video camera out again and check out my walk and the way I hold myself.
I was disappointed at being read, but not devastated as I would have been in the past, not because I don`t mind being read, FAR FROM IT! I just feel that I still need to work on this aspect.
This I am sure will make you laugh, I was walking with a limp following a sporting injury. I am sure that did not help my walk.
By the way, it is lovely to keep in touch with you all.
Sophie.
