Yep, that would be today!!!! Nope, not a holiday, birthday, or anything like that. It's the first day of school for my kids! Though my kids know, and have seen Carroll, Its just easier to be dressed without them here! My days off of work are now what my wife and I call "Carroll" days.

Here in Oklahoma the kids are back in school before the 20th of August. (I don't know how they stand it, myself.)

Good for you Carroll. I remember those days so well. I knew what time the school bus would bring my son home and would plan my day of cd'ing around the bus schedual. That is all changed now as he left home seven years ago. Now days I can cd whenever I want to and for as long as I want to. I am so fortunate to be able to do this.

My son has started college today, until I get his timetable I wont take any chances! so I expect another week or so before I've got some freedom. Barb

Mine started on Tuesday and another great thing is the malls are teen free in the morning now!

My son also started college on Monday,so far Monday half day,tuesday off and half day friday,lets hope his full timetable kicks in next week,since may he's had study leave,exams and then holidays.i just can't wait to dress on my day off,it's been a long four months.
