Hi Girls,

I was out last Friday (dressed) with a friend. We went to a movie. After the movie we walked to a few shops close by just to talk & see what they had. I've been looking for some shoes to go with a dress that my wife is willing to loan to me. It is a nice velvet navy blue dress that gives me a VERY NICE figure. I found some shoes, but I wasn't sure if they would go with the dress. I took a picture with them on at the store & then consulted my wife. A couple days later she & I went to the store and bought them. At home, I tried them on with the dress (no wig, forms or makeup). My wife was helping decide if they went with the dress. Then she said "You look better in that dress than I do." What a compliment!! :)

I'm looking forward to when I have the chance to go out for a formal evening wearing the dress. I'll post a picture of me in the dress later.

Not to imply she was fishing, but I certainly hope you answered, "no way, honey, it's much better on you!" :-)

She'll never be able to wear it again or at least without thinking how much better you looked in it. Be aware that in your happieness, you ruined that dress for her.

My wife has one "posh frock" that I'm not allowed to wear because I looked better than her in it. Many wives are defensive about their looks and our looks. Make sure you help her feel special and beautiful!

Throughout my years of cding, the one thing that is strictly verboten is to raid my wife's closet and vice versa. This has been a rule we established on day one of her finding out of my dressing and it works for us. There is only so much one can asked an SO to put up with a cd husband and this is the boundary she has set. Other than that, I am free to dress as often as I please, so I really can't complain even though there are some things in her wardrobe I'd love to wear. Won't touch the forbidden fruit because if she found out, the damage would probably be irrepairable.

Lucky you, my wife will now and again buy me things to wear but on the whole her cloths are off limits.

The wife and I are such different sizes, I never have to worry about up staging her in one of her own dresses, and besides, since I can't share her wardrobe, Iget to have all new stuff for myself, no hand me downs, or loaners. And I am pretty sure we both prefere it that way!

Ooohhh....

There are good and wise thoughts here. I also wear some of my wife's clothes. I need to careful about telling her that she looks better in them than I do (and she truly does).
