A couple of nights ago on australian tv, there was a story on a current affairs show about a salon that caters to men offering all manner of services like manicures, pedicures, waxing, hair cuts, basically anything from the head down and then the genius presenter started in on the main person in the story who was showing all his moisturisers and products along those lines.
The presenter asked if he uses "manscara" and "guy-liner" or would have a "man-zillian" wax and he agreed to have a "man-zillian" if the presenter would make a donation to charity.
Of course when seeing all the stuff the guy uses, he felt the need to ask "are you a real man?" and that question was followed up with footage of the main person in the story demonstrating his martial arts prowess.

Reminds me of the TS Girl in thailand I believe it is, most are scorned by society there, this one is a pro kick boxer who kisses her opponent after she kicks their a**'s,lol
They now all respect her, she's a national celebrity there, good for her.

On being asked the question 'Are you a real man?'

The correct reply should be 'Define what a 'real man' is first?'

I think I would have asked the presenter if they were for real .

I don't think a real man is a guy who just does Manley thing like all he man thing. A real man can be really sensitive and soft loving and caring of others. I think a man who likes to wear frilly thing isn't a sissy at all. Wearing pants and kicking someones but don't make him a man.:hugs:

That is such a good question! I have no idea, actually.

But, I'm sure of ONE THING; it's NOT me!:heehee:

I think you're a real man if you say you are. I have no reason to argue with anyone's self-perception. :)

I have all the proper male equipment so I think that qualifies me as a real man.

Well, it takes a REAL MAN to wear a skirt!

As far as salons specifically for male, why bother?

You might as well go into any salon.

I would rather be surrounded by beautiful women, rather than jerks like the presenter you mentioned.

I looked up "real man" but didn't get any results...

But I looked up "real" and "man".

I do in fact, exist in reality therefore I am real.

I am a human individual as representing the species, therefore I can be called a MAN.

Yeah I'm a "real man" alright.

One thing my ex-girlfriend said to me one time.

"It's just so strange that a big karate guy wants to wear a mini skirt."

I love martial arts...It's such a awesome thing. Saved me from suicide when I was younger.

Being a CD just makes things a bit more interesting. :) If only my friends who I bare-knuckle box with and fight full contact against knew what I did in my private time...that would make a great story.
